don't think that wil be a problem as josh's date isn't for a while yet and he's going on the mission.

Ryudo Lee

As info you can use in game, Chad appears to be unaffected by the removal of the chip as to his normal brain functions, but unless the chip was destroyed, it's probably still receiving a signal.  Has anyone investigated the chip in detail or do I need to get my NPCs to do that?

Thanks to Taski & Silverfoxr for the artwork!

Dorcan was going to investigate it, since he was ultimately intended as a technical character, but he's only just got up to speed with the local technology.  If you hadn't started pushing the new mission, that's what he'd be doing now :P

To be frank I wasn't entirely sure when and how you were going to reveal that sort of thing.  Ultimately that is up to you, so the idea of having my character make some key discovery felt very wrong.

I prefer not to post when I haven't anything to say... a lot is going on that Morgan is not paying attention to at the moment and as much as I would like to add input, it is rather out of character for him.

In reality, I just want to know that people are still there and watching what's going on.  When there's no posts from people in more than a few days I begin to wonder if people are losing interest or something.  Know what I mean?

Same boat as Azlan - I haven't anything (IC) to add right now, my apologies for not clarifying or noticing sooner.

The fiery glow from the below was disturbing to the Fae.   It was more than volcanic heat or sight, but the whole feel of the place.  Bam looks left and right at the dim glow and the shadows.  Even looks up and out of the high windows, but to see no stars or rain... only a rare flash of lightening can be seen even once in a while in the sky lights. but no thunder is heard

Bam inches up the stairs with her back to the wall, as she watches each step and to keep as far away for the edge as possible.

PBH

PBH, you posted that in the wrong thread.

As soon as you guys are ready to get moving, just announce it and go.  You guys are supposed to lead the backup guys.

Thanks to Taski & Silverfoxr for the artwork!

Paladin Sheppard

To all of you I am truly sorry I've not been posting. I come to the decision that in both of the RPs I'm in I can't get in character to make a post so I shall be dropping out. Thank you all for playing with me and putting up with my antics.

Ryudo Lee

Well if you ever change your mind, there's a spot open for ya to jump back in.

Thanks to Taski & Silverfoxr for the artwork!

Morgan is the most experienced, I'm leaving it to him.

and I have no idea how the story id to progress.

Azlan

I've been extraordinarily busy as of late... and a bit slow to respond.  I probably should have inquired earlier about what Morgan has asked in character, but I wasn't thinking of it until I started posting the entrance into town.

There is really no way to be inconspicuous on foot...

Unless you sneak in from the edge of the forest, scale a building, and roof-hop out of sight :P
Jexx is already going to be doing that, no one's supposed to ever see him. It might be possible for the others to follow his lead if they so decide, Jexx is good at what he does, he could give them some pointers...

When he says "you are in charge" he means that for all of you, not Az in particular.

I would hope that Az is not in charge... you want to move quietly and inconspicuous, something fae are incapable of doing a majority of the time.

I'm back, finally. Yay.
So much s**t to do and catch up on and not enough time to do it...argh.

It was very, very tempting to make Dorcan have learned everything he knows about stealth from playing 'Thief' and thus being completely inept at it in the real world.  However, what I've described is rather more in line with his backstory.

welcome back tech. there was a very noticeable halt to all the RPs you're in. but you're back now yays!

Ryudo Lee

Good to see you back Tech.

I've been plotting some more on this whole game, and I think I've come up with enough plot hooks to keep you all interested through to the ending.  As soon as we get through this section, I'll start introducing said plot hooks.

I'm taking my ITIL exam in about 40 minutes.  Wish me luck.

Good luck.  I'd say 'let us know how you get on', but that's rarely helpful :P

From what my wife said when she took it, it's relatively easy - it's just a matter of figuring out what answer they -want- you to give.

Once you've got the appropriately brown-nosing sentiments right, the correct answer becomes obvious. Even if logic says otherwise.

... Or so she said. (well... maybe not in those words. ;-] )

Best of luck with it, anyway.

All the studying with the training materials that I was provided with and all the subsequent cramming I did with simulated exams paid off.  I passed it with 90%.  And with two days to spare too (it's required for us to be ITIL Foundation certified by 9/30).  It's really not as simple as she says it is though llearch.  There's a lot of specific terminology that they use that you gotta know.

Thanks to Taski & Silverfoxr for the artwork!

I should point out she's working in a company that's big enough to require this stuff on a daily basis, and was required to have it so that she could run the team that's most likely to be implementing these details.

So she -might- have had a little edge there. ;-]

I take your point, though. And congratulations on passing it!

Better plan; use the fae as a distraction. Sneak past whilst all their backs are turned. :U

When I put fae into a game, they are the little ones that flit around and play little pranks on people... usually the PC's.

One such example was a furry-themed D&D game I ran.  The party decided to walk through the woods and found themselves in fae territory.  One of the players, and therefore his character, absolutely hates fairies.  Knowing this, I sent the fairies after him.  He ended up trying to bite one of them, but instead it burst into a cloud of fairy dust which made him come down with a case of Taasha's Hideous Laughter.

We did this again (different furry-themed D&D game, same player).  The party walked through the woods and came upon fae territory.  Well this time the fairies started tying pink bows in his fur and put a little wooden crown on his head.  He took it in stride this time around and started prancing about saying "I'm a pretty pretty princess!"  Granted, he was playing a polar bear with a big f'ing scythe, so he could do pretty much what he wanted to.

What next?  Morgan's in the lead, obviously, but he may be awaiting your cue to get to the shed.

Out of interest, is the armour still there?  (It's unclear if the zealots opened the crate or whether they saw the molten bits of the other guy left by Jexx)
