A baby weighs 5 pounds and a cannon ball weighs 7 pounds...Which one will reach the ground first on top of a house and probably bounce first?

There's no ground on top of a house, unless you have an unusual house...

Why do revolving doors exist anyhow?

To stop people skiing through them.

Is it better write on a full stomach or an empty one?

Neither, it's better to write on paper.

What's the worse wake up call you have gotten in your life?

"Hi, everything is broken and it's your fault because you left your phone off, even though you're not on-call, and you handed over to someone else 3 hours ago."

"Sir, I killed your dog"  Because A) your dog died and B) They woke you up just to tell you your dog died?  I would be pissed a lot.

Because people read what they want to read.

How come? Is it some psychological force of ignoring what is before them?

I've recently stared a topic some thing i haven't does in the longest time and i have to ask a few questions because of some of the responses. the question are as follows:

When I'm less then well rested does my spelling and grammar give you nightmares?
How can written words hurt so much?
Is it possible to installing spell checking with or with out a grammar option directly into and organic brain?
if so where can this be done in less then five hours?
I thank Silver Fox and Tiger_T for the wonderful Yappies.  all around the universe powers learned to hiss and curse at this, my creation but am i real or pure creation?
I'm never where i was, rarely where i want to be, but always were i am needed.
this world is not my own. but some how i wish that i could belong. Blame It On Boxey

The closest answer I can give is something I got from one of my psych classes: most people do not seek disconfirming evidence.

Relevance may or may not be included.

Well, no. I hardly dream most of the time and I tend to glaze past posts with many errors.

I doubt it.

Maybe. I prefer not to think about hypothetical brain surgery or implants.

Depends on what they are polling about.  There is a lot of fascinating science that goes into the subject.  I'm still trying to poll which of Rakala's pies are most delicious.

By slacking off, do you mean work at a snail's pace or not work at all? It'd depend on that. Whether or not you get noticed for this depends largely if you have a believable excuse.

Snails pace for the most part with bits of not working at all.  Since I'm a web developer my web traffic is expected to be high so any browsing I do goes mostly unnoticed as long as it isn't excessive.

Skew your standards far enough and anyone is a trap. Personally, that'd be a really huge stretch.

What does "Okkusenman" mean?

I'd probably do whatever I could to keep my world as is with as much managable change as possible.

Ask a philosopher.

It seems to be gibberish. Jisho has no idea what that is, and unless you've got the kanji/hiragana it came from I can't help any further than that.

Pretty? I feel all nice and warm right now, but pretty's another thing.

A call to arms? When did it go to sparkly vampire enthusiasts?

I predict by that time I will be engrossed in Persona 4 and worrying about how badly the fail train will run my grades to the ground. So, most likely not.

Glasses are generally connected by a nose-rim. It counts as nutty to me. And maybe dastardly if you throw in a goatee.

You see, this is directly related to the taste of gummy bears.  With out that gummy deliciousness there would be no point in life.  That would make me sad fox.  But then... a thing can not exist with out its opposite.  Thus, salt!  It came from the land of nom.
