F1 on TV: Good News for Bill?

I know it is for me. I think.

According to DirecTV's site, SPEED is supposed to launch an HD version in October.

It may be too late for China (definitely too late for Japan this weekend), but hopefully not too late for Brazil.

FOM may not supply an HD feed, but they do have a widescreen feed for Europe and Canada. Here's hoping they use it.

Once it hits DirecTV, it should promulgate to other cable providers eventually.
