It reminds me of those creepy scenes when a character is hallucinating (Homer at the chili cook off) that might be because it's faded though. Either way it's pretty cool.

I'll try on that part, but it is hard to shade using pens, or whatever else is used for inking.

Is there special pencils that scanners can catch easily?

It... weirds me out.  Not necessarily a bad thing.  I think it's the eyes.
