I'm still saying Jyrras is too meak to actually kick Lorenda out.  If she does leave, it will be of her own choosing.  He already knows her to be a demon cow, and some little wings aren't going to change his mind.

It is possible, but it's a complicated and expensive surgery. His foot may even end up deeper in his pie hole.

I can just hear Lorenda's tone of voice.  Hands on the hips, leaning backwards.  She just spat those words out like old chewing tobacco.  ``Awkward.''  There's only one reason for such a situation to be awkward.  Jyrras thought that he knew it, but now that she's said that, he surely does.

If I were Jyrras, I'd say something along the lines of, ``Didn't you hear what I just said?  I said I want to be alone!  I've got relationship issues to think about, and I want to figure out the proper way to deal with them.  If you want to come in here and tell me that you're not interested in me, then it will just have to *wait*! [sotto voce] Rude.''

But Jyrras is typically too timid for that.

I guess I'm just hoping that Jyrras will change because he's unlikely to find love anywhere unless I become more honest and expressive with my feelings.  Otherwise, I'm likely to die alone and unloved.

Edit: Jyrras!  I mean, Jyrras is unlikely ...

One of these days I hope Jyrras is going to snap from all this awkwardness and turn into a berserker for a bit. So he could have the courage to tell everyone at lost lake how he feels about them all. Whether it good or bad opinions he shares.
