Jack Tretton of Sony is claiming that "help" is on the way for console "shortages"

The only shortage I can possibly come up with is Sony not selling Playstation3's.

Obviously by "help", they mean paid people pretending to buy PS3s all day, and acting happy about it.
That or getting the mob to force people to buy them.

Possibly both.

It would help if they didn't just put one PS3 in 6 stores either. Any shortage they have is an artificial one, because I haven't really seen much out of them. Besides, I think all the annoying fanboys already have one now anyway... Nobody smart will buy them unless it has a bunch of games they want.

Pass the bong here, please.

I too would like a hit off of what's being smoked.

I went to two Best Buy's last night (getting a fridge for my sister) and I couldn't help but notice that they were both fully stocked with PS3's, but the Wii's we're all sold out, and XBox 360 was down to the last couple.  I'd like to know where they think the shortages are.  Perhaps it's in their own warehouses.

Thanks to Taski & Silverfoxr for the artwork!

The shortages are in the money in their pockets that represent sold PS3s.

Ah it makes perfect sense.  They must be feeling it after saying they'd be paying out so much for each unsold PS3:mwaha

I told that to a few of the guys I worked with at Toys R Us. They could retire on what's there.

Heck, I'd just be happy with a finder's fee.  I could probably find 20 of them with a couple hours driving around.

now, what's it about the bong? must be some real good stuff.

it reminds me of artificial Adidas Sneeeekers Shortages here in Germany...
makes the herd members pay € 85 for a pair of chinesely crafted posing shoes.
I always take the colours that didn't sell well and are reduced in price therefore.
like military green stripes on white "leather" obermaterial.
