since half way through chapter 1, i've been both artist and writer.. that banner's pretty old, one of my new year's resolutions is to fix just that. =p

I've just read through the archives.  It's a lot less grim than the first 10 pages or so make out.  With that intro, and the current page being of snipers, I was afraid it was going to be three years of combat and violence, the prospect of which I found somewhat off-putting.  But it ain't like that.  Definitely one to watch.

agreed, went through them myself yesterday. In one go, good story, sometimes a bit text heavy but that's just me and my short attention span  :B.

Stygian

Greetings, infidel! I am on vacation right now, and I have lots to do (not... quite sure how that goes together...), so I am simply going to say that unless you know the bish, the lingo and the works of Frank Herbert, you must die in the pits of Hell!

...thing is only that it's really not that bad a place. So pull up a chair and keep us company! I'm Stygian, somewhat friendly creature of unspeakable horror and nightmare.

funny, you don't look lovecraftian.. and your avatar's jaw is far to square to be bishie..  >:3

yeah, my name's pronounced "turn-ski", it's an old nickname i had ages ago..

as for my comic's writing.. i'm not overly big on violence, implied violence, cartoon violence, slapstick, i like, but don't expect people (or their body parts) disappearing in a fine red mist anytime soon. Maulings and injury, fine.. but i won't be showing many (if any at all) corpses in the comic, per se.

[EDIT] *just spent this morning reading all of DMFA*

Dragons, it's what's for dinner... with gravy and potatoes, YUM!
Sparta? no, you should've taken that right at albuquerque..

Yes.  I'm ashamed to admit that my own story is actually more violent than yours, although I try to lift the mood a bit by making it funny as well.

Believe it or not, I originally read DMFA backwards through the archives since it took a while for me to get into it.  Quite an interesting experience that was...

i'd say.. =p

i can't  really do humor, it's beyond me, sarcasm and wit i can do, but it has to be just right, none of my comic's prescripted, y'see. i write it purely on the fly.  :3

I'm even more impressed, if that's what you do.

It's a well-scripted story, though. Even despite the fact that you don't. :-)

the only "scripting" i do is when i sketch the panels, i have some kind of dialogue in mind, but that's about it..
i store it all on the ol' gray matter.
