DSWC/CVRPG suggestion box (previously "Hello....")

Just wondering what game charactors might crossover into DSWC or CVRPG in the future and if there's a suggestion box.

You're more than welcome to drop any suggestions you'd like. As it is, if they don't naturally fit into the Som/CT graphics world, I'll have to harangue Jorge into making me the sprites for them...

My current focus is on trying to get Link into a better place, as I beat up on so very much. One day I will bring in the TMNT (but that's a long, long time away), and I may even see about doing a weird Batman crossover. But, those are just my ideas...

Of course, that's CVRPG. I can cross just about anyone into DSWC. That doesn't require very much in the way of special graphics.

Any thoughts?

Seriously, I don't know if I can see crossovers within CVRPG as easily as you do.  I mean the cast of characters is so well fleshed out there's no room for other series to come in.

And this is from the person who has a multiverse in her head that spans at least 7 established universes.  You don't want to even get a glimpse into that.

Solid Snake for one.

Some of the more popular Darkstalkers would work. It's along the same line of vampires, werewolves, and succubi that we see in Castlevania. Plus you got that vampire party going on in CVRPG...

True, although I dunno how easily I could find CT style DS sprites.

One the flip, if I knew more about Metal Gear I could easily thrown Solid Snake into DSWC...

And dammit, one day I will do a Tetris DSWC.

No Snake? How about DSWC Rampart episode? Pitfall maybe?

Oooooh, Pitfall.

I'll set Jorge on it, if I see him online. Of course, if anyone on the web has done "free-to-use" sprites edits of various Dark Stalkers, I may be able to futz some of them in. Long as they are free to use, and decent looking... Dunno about that though.

Hehe...Darkstalkers would fit in well with both CVRPG and DSWC storywise, but as mentioned you'd have problem with the sprites.  With CVRPG there are no CVRPG style DS Sprites.  With DSWC, the anime-style sprites of Darkstalkers would clash with the Castlevania look.

If you're looking for regular Darkstalkers sprites, the best place to go is GSA.

The Shyguy Kingdom is also a good place to find sprite sheets, and yes you can use them in webcomics (I was always under the impression you could not.)  Unfortunately, they only have Demitri, although I must admit it's a very THOROUGH sprite sheet.

However after a quick Google search, I've found an excellent source for Darkstalkers Sprites and backgrounds.  This place is SO linked on my next update,

In addition personally have one or two Darkstalker sprites these places don't have.  But I mean that literally as one or two.

I doubt I would do Darkstalkers as a real comic. They would only popup as cameos in CVRPG is I had the sprites for it... which i don't. So yeah, oh well.

Man, I gotta get my regular computer nice and Operational.
Right now I'm having problems with my Sound Card (I might just buy a new one... my Live! card is pissing me off in that it keeps 'forgetting' my soundfont upon reboot.  It's VERY VERY annoying... it didn't do that on 98SE... stupid XP... WHY DID I UPGRADE!?!?  WHYYYYYYYYYY)

Anyway, as soon as my PC is optimal, I'll do sprites again.

I'm being watched like a Hawk at work for some reason (they're cracking down on everybody) so I can't sprite at work...

...and with Overtime, I get home, have dinner, and by the time I'm in front of the PC, it's already 7:30 to 8pm... and I'm only free 'til 9pm.
