Normally, I don't pay attention to YahooNews, but this article caught my eyes.  It's on the results of a study that says what has long been accepted as conventional wisdom -- kill a white person and you die, kill a non-white and you live.  I'm not going to copy and paste it because it's long, and if you don't want to read it, you don't have to.

While to me this is one of those stories that is so obvious it didn't need a study, I fail to understand why there are still people who believe that there is no institutional racism.

Wel it's interesting. I do have to give California credit for not handing out the deal penalty disproportianely to the accused, even if it seems like they define a murdered white person as a bigger loss.
