Honestly, Biggs attitude is me for everyone on antisocial days, but def an always for some people at work.

Love the Galaxy Quest quote in the webpage display (when you hover over the tab)! I'm also fond of, "By Grabthar's hammer, by the sons of Warvan, you shall be avenged!"

And I'm glad you are thinking of yourself, Amber, and taking a break. Especially to see family that you haven't seen in over 5 years. The pandemic, I think, did a bigger number on all of us than we realized. Relax, try to enjoy yourself (heat might prevent that, but still), and come back with whatever you decide.

She does want to finish it and I'd be satisfied with some scripts for pages that won't be illustrated and a few illustrations personally.

BTW, I was speaking with a friend the other day who recently got back into drawing after not doing it for years. They were telling me that they stopped because they liked to sketch and paint on real paper, but everything seemed to be digitally focused, so they had tried to learn that and just gotten too frustrated.

It made me think of Amber talking about switching art programs and trying to learn the new tech and how that was taking so much of their time. It sounded like some of their current frustrations with making the DMFA comics were from forcing themself to learn the computer-related stuff and not being able to just create.

So wanted to throw out there--for anyone that has gotten out of a hobby because they felt they had to do it a certain way and/or keep up with the times--please do your hobbies as you want to do them. Don't feel obligated to change how you do them to "stay current," especially if you enjoy doing them a certain way.

The world needs more joy of creation and process, not rushed products. Take your time, relax, breathe, and have fun. 

(Although if you are an old creaky crafter like me, a magnifying light is a wonderful and helpful addition to your supplies!)
