NSFW will include blood, death, some sexual content IE making out and a bit more nothing too bad still gonna say that though.

I also as well wanna thank Tapewolf who was gracious enough to let me do a fan fic of his fan fic. love the comic so much. Also story takes place somewhere between project future and Epsilon off in a town away from the major stuff. Only a few times will Daryil show up to do anything

A cougar loitered outside the glass front doors of a large building, the steady bustle of foot traffic weaving around him as he paced on the sidewalk. He looked up and stared at the bold plaque over the entryway: "Jayhawk Cybernetics", and took a deep breath.
"I got this, I got this," he murmured. "It's just physical labor and only a few towns over, it's perfect!" With a fresh burst of confidence, he strode into the building.
The lobby was rather large, white tile floors with beige colored walls. A black leather sofa rested against the wall, a pair of matching chairs on either side of a coffe table. Stacked upon the table were numerous magazines.

The white-furred canine behind the desk looked up from her computer and gave Amai a once-over; his black dress shoes, grey slacks, a short sleeve white collared shirt, an untied black tie around his neck. The things that stood out the most were the forearm length, light green, fingerless cloth gloves he wore. She politely offered: "Yes, can I help you?"

"Um...yes," the cougar ventured, "Amai Crimson for the 12 o'clock interview with Mr. Ausmann." He fiddled with his tie a bit.

Looking on her computer she curtly nodded: "Alright. Well he is in a meeting, but it should be over in a few minutes, 10 at most. Take a seat in the meantime. Also.." she coughed and nodded her head towards the bathroom; "if you wanna freshen up."

Amai looked at her then the bathroom, nodded his head: "oh, thank you" before heading in there. Walking in he came up to the sink to look himself over in the mirror. Standing at 6'1 he brushed over his shirt and pants, trying to get the wrinkles out. Having to walk to this job interview had ruffled his clothes up; his long cougar tail swayed slowly behind him, long tan color with an extra fluffy black tail tip. While he stared downward trying to knot the tie correctly, his shoulder length lavender hair swung right into his face "Dangit."

Moving his hands into his pockets, he fished out a black hair tie, pulled his hair back into a ponytail and secured it with the hair tie. "There." his violet eyes looked himself over once more. "The tie is the best it will get, maybe he won't care. I am a physical laborer, so won't need a tie." He looked up to his ears. They were pointy, unusual for a cougar; even more unusual were the small flames, one on each ear's tip. "Okay, guess I'll go wait."
Heading out of the bathroom he went to the sofa and sank into one of its pillows.

As he waited Amai's gaze wandered over the magazine covers. Usual stuff about Jayhawks corporation as leading tech company. Some home and garden mags and then- what in the world?
He grabbed up the last magazine "Latex and PVC", all about clothing made from the stuff. On the front was a male black wolf wearing white latex pants that hugged him a little too well. On his arms were some white latex gloves, with the caption: "Is white latex in this season?"
Amai's face blushed a bit feeling his face burn, before his attention was caught by the front desk lady's call: "Mr. Crimson?" The cougar hastily dropped the magazine and whipped his head around, hoping she hadn't noticed his interest in it. "Mr. Ausmann will see you now. Down the hall, first door on your left." she said smiling softly. "Good luck."

Amai crossed the lobby and headed down the hall, where he found the door; a gold plated nameplate reading Lead Researcher of RD. Kristofer Ausmann. Knocking on the door, he pushed it open once he heard a voice saying to come in.

The room was pretty basic, same white tile floors as the rest of the building, the walls though were a light blue color. In the room sat a single oak desk, papers stacked on it along with a white mug filled with coffee.  In front of the desk was a single chair for clients and others, on the other side was a very nice leather desk chair. Sitting in it was an Arctic wolf with short black hair; his eyes never looked up from the papers as he used a hand to straighten his reading glasses. His outfit was a white lab coat, under it a crimson dress shirt complete with a black tie.

Taking the seat across from Mr. Ausmann, he breathed in and out slowly to calm himself. "Hello, Mr. Ausmann."

The wolf didn't bother to look up. "Hello Mr. Crimson. I'm going over your papers again, seeing the meeting went a bit long. Wanted to be sure I had everything in order."
Amai cleared his throat to reply: "Amai would be fine, sir." He fidgeted a bit, unsure what else to say.

"Let me see here, says here you live in Aston?"
Amai sat straight in his chair. "Yes, I don't live too far away, and I know the town is a bit away but, it has a living facility so I wouldn't need to travel."
"You have been doing some physically demanding jobs as well." The wolf spoke deliberately, keeping his eyes on the papers.
The cougar breathed in: "Yes, construction for a little bit, as well help with clearing parts of forest for expansion. Even working on farms around my town."

Finally emerging from his papers, Mr Ausmann looked over the cat till something caught his eye. "Mr Cri- I mean Amai... your ears appear to be on fire." He got up revealing his tan pants and walked around his desk to the cougar.

Amai's eyes widened a bit before he reached a hand up to them. "Oh um, no it's fine. I'm half dem.." he stopped himself covering his mouth with both hands, before feeling Mr. Ausmann's hands come up to grab his tie. "I.."

The artic wolf ignored this protest: "Your tie isn't right. Let me fix it," he said moving his fingers to properly tie it, then looked at the cat who was now visibly shaking. His voice softened: "Relax, I've talked with your prior employers and they said only good things about you. Showed up on time, worked overtime. Never complained." He leaned back on the desk, crossing his arms over his chest. "Whether you be a half demon or not, means nothing to me. I need a good worker no matter who or what they are. And since this job requires carrying around the chassis of our panther security units, which each weigh close to a motorcycle's weight? You being half demon will come in handy."

Amai was a bit embarrassed to feel his tie get redone, but hearing how the employer didn't care what he was and even appreciated what he could do, he smiled some: "Oh thanks, it's just... some people like to jump to conclusions. It's why I could only get jobs at my hometown. Everyone knew me so didn't worry." Thinking on the job details he smiled widely: "Only one motorcycle? That sounds easy enough, done similiar like moving logs around or on construction sites." He paused, realising what that sounded like. "Not...not that I'm bragging," he added rubbing at the back of his head.

Mr. Ausmann nodded his head chuckling at the last part: "Well, nothing wrong with that. Now then, Amai... I have a question for you, and please be truthful. How would you react to working with six to seven incubi? I ask because, as you pointed out, people like to jump to conclusions."

As Amai thought it over, his tail tip flicked back and forth."I see no issue, my father has a friend who is an incubi and practically an uncle to me. Just like demons have reps, so do they, I know. But if they are nice to me, why would I care if they were an Incubus or even a being?"

Staring at the cougar in thought, Mr. Ausmann listened nodding his head. "Excellent way of looking at it." He held out a hand. "So Amai, would you be able to start in a week? Also, enough with the 'Sir'. Call me Mr. Ausmann, if need be."

Amai sprung out of the chair, grabbed the wolf's hand in his and shook it energetically. "Thank you Si... Mr. Ausmann, I will do my best! I'll pack and tell my dad, he will be so happy, finally he can go on vacation and let me pay for stuff" He rambled on, before heading off.
As soon the door shut, Ausmann could hear Amai celebrate outside. He couldn't help but grin at the young man's very childlike gushing.

After traveling back home, he walks up to his small wooden cottage - two bedrooms, one bathroom, kitchen and a small family room. Opening the entrance door, he could hear his dad in the kitchen shuffling around in the fridge for a snack. Striding into the kitchen, Amai beamed as the older male noticed him finally. His dad was about a full foot and a half shorter than him, an Iberian lynx with short bright yellowish spotted fur. Atop his head were a pair of large pointed ears with fur tufts on the tips. Wearing nothing more than a loose fitting green shirt and a pair of slacks, his bare feet showed the furry paw pads he sported.
"Dad, I did it!"

The lynx, who was crunching on a pickle, stopped mid-chew upon hearing the news. Rushing across the floor, he grabbed Amai and lifted him with relative ease, showing more strength than his body suggested. "OHHHH I just knew you could get that!" he squealed in a spray of pickle juice while the cougar flailed around. "Gonna be quiet around here without you around though," he said setting his son down.
Amai calmed feeling his feet on the floor again "Hahah! thanks dad. I will miss this place too, you know that, but. I gotta get something more sustainable than the occasional local job. Help pay for things and let you finally retire and relax."

Looking at him, the dad chuckled some, faking a hurt pride. "Oh I see, I'm too old huh? I got plenty of energy for years to come."

Amai shook his head: "No, not the point. You should be able to take a vacation and not worry for a bit."

Pulling Amai in, the dad patted his back some. "I know, son. Promise I will take it easy, only if your job lasts more than a month. Just to know you got settled in and they wanna keep you. Afterwards I'll plan a vacation."
Leaning down Amai laid his chin on his father's forehead, letting out a sigh of content. "Thanks dad..."
The lynx spoke into his son's neck: "You should go see your aunt and uncle too, up in the mountains." He then looked Amai in the eye. "Now then, when do you start?"
"Oh... I start in a week. I gotta get packed and moved in by then. You know the owner of Jaytech, Mr. Ausmann? He asked if I'd have trouble working with any incubi or others."
Hearing that part made the lynx's ears twitch some. "Glad he gave you a heads up. Now lets get something to eat. We got a few days before you need to head there so we can get as much father and son time in as we can."

*Later that week [fast forward]*

"Alright dad, this is it... my ride to the place I'll be working and living." Amai pointed to the jade colored hippogryph who was pulling an enclosed carriage. Before he grabbed his bags he grabbed hold of his dad, lifting him up into a tight hug. "Gonna miss you so much. I'll call you the moment I get settled in, okay?"

Feeling his legs dangle as Amai held him up, the lynx kissed his son on the forehead, gasping: "I look forward to hearing from you, kiddo. Now can you put me down? I feel like an oversized stuffed animal when you do this." He chuckled, then feeling his feet on the ground again looked at Amai. "Good luck...now get going you are going to miss your ride."

After setting his dad down, the half-demon grabbed his bags and settled inside the carriage, which started to move away. Once they got to the forest line, he leaned out the window yelling behind: "Love you dad, I'll call when I get settled in."
Not having to be dressed up, Amai was just wearing a slightly oversized white t-shirt, a pair of black Chinos cloth for the fabric and loose around his legs. His feet were bare, figured he would put on shoes once he got to town.
As the carriage continued on its way he leaned back, this vehicle wasn't top of the line but had cushioned seats and a roof against the weather. Putting his feet up on the seat, he relaxed further. "Guess I should nap till I get there, take a bit anyways." He brought his arms behind his head like a pillow and shut his eyes.

When the carriage reached Mirefield where he would be working, he was stirred awake as it came to a stop. A loud pop could be heard from Amai's back as he stretched, starting to put his shoes on finally.
The door opened and he stepped out; this city named was huge compared to where he had grown up. Amai looked up at the buildings and the people walking around; some had wings, others were mythos of all different kinds. Gathering his things, he thanked the hippogryph before walking off to find his new workplace.

After about twenty minutes of searching and asking around, Amai finally made it there. He was told to come to the loading dock; making his way around the building, he came upon it.
He took a look around before walking up to the door and knocking. "Hey, anyone in there? I was told to come here to start work..."
A few minutes went by before the door eventually clicked open. Walking inside, Amai didn't see anyone at first.

Inside the dock was pretty bare; after all, it was needed for deliveries and shipping, nothing else. The only notable thing was its small size, but it probably wasn't a very busy dock and so didn't need a large area.
A chuckling could be heard as a figure was coming up to Amai with their tail swaying behind them. The person stood maybe a good five foot six, sand colored fur with a pair of huge ears atop their canine head with short white hair.
The fennec fox was still chuckling before rising up to their tip toes to look over Amai better. "Soooo, you're the new help huh? Well don't stand around, let me introduce you to the others. My name is Jason by the way," he chirped staring at Amai with light blue eyes.

Looking at the fennec fox, Amai's mind was racing. They wore a pair of black latex pants that hugged their small frame. On their feet were a set of shiny black boots, obviously made of PVC. They had no shirt on, just a white labcoat open to show off the lithe frame - a male. Atop his head were a pair of small black wings nestled neatly by his large ears, revealing his cubi nature. As Amai's eyes looked him over he couldn't help but think the guy was quite adorable. ~Oh gods, why is he so cute.~ Amai had no mind shield up; the one incubus he considered an uncle the most, had told him they don't read minds.
He managed to shake himself free of the little guy's charm. "I'm sorry, yes, please show me around. I'm the new heavy laborer. Amai Crimson."

Jason, true to cubi ways, had paid no mind to Amai's thoughts till he heard cute, at which point his tail swished. Turning away, he got an evil smile on his face thinking to himself ~Oh man, gonna have so much fun teasing him. If he thinks I'm cute, wait till he meets the others.~ Walking up the stairs he used a keycard to open the door and held it open for the new guy.

Inside was a long hallway, a door on the right side at the end read "storeroom". The door to the left didn't have a sign, probably leading to other areas of the building. As they walked down the hall to go into the store room, a busy tail could be seen peeking out from behind a box. The sounds of a hammer hitting something were accompanied with a few curse words on occasion.

As they came around the box, there stood a red fox, around five foot eight inches, slightly taller than most foxes Amai knew. Wearing a white labcoat, one couldn't see if they had a shirt on or not; they wore a pair of loose fitting blue jeans, with a white tennis shoes. Their hair was pulled back into a pony tail, bright blue hair with black tips; their headwings were red and black in color.
A hammer swung back and slammed down against a wooden crate. "Open you stupid piece of crap, I need the materials inside," they muttered.

Jason walked over and grabbed the hammer before it could be lifted off again. "Stop that. We have our new laborer. Say hello to him." He pointed at the cougar, setting the hammer down on a work station.

The fox came out fully grumbling, he had a black dress up shirt under his labcoat, and on the side of his neck was a glowing yellow tattoo. "Well fine, maybe you can open that box then. I need those materials to finish my project and this is taking forever." He then stared Amai up and down. "Welcome aboard. Your first task is... open that box I was beating on," he said and crossed his arms tapping a foot, hazel eyes watching Amai closely.

Amai set his bags down hearing that. "Oh...right, sorry. Right away, sir."
He went over to the box, about four foot high and just as thick. A bit of the wood was broken away thanks to the earlier hammer blows. "Right, easy enough." He extended his right hand, finger tips extended with claws which he sunk into the wood. They went through like a hot knife through butter. Using his left hand to steady the box, he yanked back his right arm; tearing the front off the box as if opening a can of tuna. "Here you go sir," he said taking the torn piece and set it to the side.

The fox witnessing that feat had his jaw drop almost to the floor, then recollected himself. "Well... you only got it cause I loosened it up for you." Grumbling some more, he went over to the box to get his stuff. "Thanks though... they won't let me use my wings to break open boxes anymore. Makes too much of a mess, and I damaged some circuit boards one time. The name is Richard." After getting the parts out, he leaned down to pick up a clipboard in front of Amai. "See you later."

Jason walked with Richard to the door, leaning in to whisper to him: "Can you get the other guys to, hum, put on a show for Amai? I wanna see something."
Richard nodded as he went out the door. Jason looked back at Amai. "Well, come along! Time to meet the others."

"Oh right. Lead the way, Jason" Amai said walking over to him, then they went through another door that read "Lab".

Jason guided Amai around the place, pointing as he spoke: "So as you can see, this place isn't that big. It doesn't need to be, as we only make the one product. Over there is where we work on the electrical components, and over there is where we do the welding and other things of that nature." As they walked along Jason also filled Amai in on what he would be doing: "So what you will be doing is helping move the giant chassis for the panther's, unloading crates of stuff we order such as circuit boards, metal and other things." he thought some more smirking "Moving from room to room to see if anyone needs anything. Oh and loading the products when they need to be shipped out. Hope you are ready to work."

As they walked along Amai paid attention to Jason as he pointed the places out and explained what he would be doing "Oh of course, did construction and helped with harvest stuff so will work till the job is done." Coming around a corner with Jason there was a tail high in the air as a figure was bent down picking things off the floor

Hi! Glad to see that this forum hasn't been totally abandoned.

A central philosophical issue with worlds, possible or impossible, is how they represent what they represent. This is obviously connected to the problem of what kind of things they are. Perhaps impossible worlds are metaphysically different from possible worlds, and represent in a different way. Or perhaps they are metaphysically on par with possible worlds. Or, they may be taken as nonexistent objects. Or as abstract entities which represent by encoding...

Looking good!  It'll be interesting to see where this goes.  As for the fashion of the season, I hear white latex stains really easily, though to be fair Furrae probably has better materials science than we do, or spells to stop it going discolouring if it's left in contact with metal etc.

Yeah don't worry, these things take time. I was more referring to the several month stretch when I was apperently the only one active in the subforum at all.

The person had been waiting for Jason and Amai to come around... "give the kid a show," sure. A toothy grin crossed his face as he heard the two coming closer... setting a few items on the ground, he bent over hiking his tail high. "Oh clumsy me." The figure was an eastern coyote, the fur on his tail was a reddish color with the tip being solid black. Clad in a pair of skin tight white latex pants, he seemed to be picking things up as he slowly stood up. "Right sorry." He stood up, taller than other coyotes as his breed had wolf ancestry. His upper body was covered with a black latex shirt; his face was the same reddish brown as his tail, from the ears down to his chin where it diverted to a blue color. Actually its natural color was white, but he had taken to changing his fur color a bit these last few months. Being completely bare footed, he stared right at Jason and especially Amai.

Amai having seen this coyote's firm rear as soon as he turned the corner, his nose dripped blood as his eyes glazed over... stuttering with his face burned red to the point the flames on his ear tips flared up.
He sputtered holding a hand up to his nose: "I... Sorry. Can I use the restroom?" he stammered. Jason pointed to the nearest one, the half-demon took off and rushed inside in embarrassment.

Jason was laughing as Amai disappeared into the bathroom. "Oh my gods, that was great! Way to break the kid with your show," he said moving over to lean aginst the coyote. "You know, if he reacts like this with the others, we may need to stock up on blood packs or something. And, did you see his ears? They were intense! Probably shouldnt push it too far though, he may set off the fire alarm."
The coyote stood there while Jason leaned against him, bringing a hand down to pat him on the head. "You know, I never knew someone could get a nose bleed, like a cartoon." His emerald gaze remained on Jason. "Maybe you should pull it back a bit? We don't need him quitting on us, else you will be put on heavy labor." The coyote then looked at the bathroom door. "Think we should check on him?"

Jason rolled his eyes some at the mention of making him do the heavy labor if Amai quit. "Fine, fiiiine... not my fault he didn't have a mind shield, he's been on and on about how cute me and Richard are. Besides," he began to smirk looking the coyote in the eyes, "no one told you to basically give him a full moon, Nadir."

Inside the bathroom was rather plain looking, black walls with white tile floor. Three stalls were lined against the wall to the right, next to them were a pair of urinals. A granite counter with a pair of sinks, water was running in the right one as a pair of hands cupped the flowing liquid and splashed their owner's face. Amai stared at himself in the mirror. "Okay, calm down, it's just a butt... a firm, perfectly round..." He shook his head and slapped his cheeks some. "No. No! Stop thinking like that. Acting like a total dweeb... ugh, such a great first impression." He cupped more water and splashed himself. Heading over he dried his face and hands, before reaching into his pocket fishing out the hair tie, he brought his hair back and made a pony tail. Figuring the fennec must've heard his thoughts, Amai reminded himself to put up a mental shield this time.

Opening the bathroom door, Amai walked out and over to Jason and Nadir. "I am sorry guys, it... must be the changing seasons, or the altitude that caused the nose bleed." Looking at Nadir he nervously smiled some. "I'm Amai Crimson, the new heavy labor guy."

Looking over Amai, Nadir felt a familar feeling... ah, the new meat had put up a mind shield, finally. "Yes... the altitude, of course. Anyway, my name is Nadir. I'm responsible for putting together the chassis, working out any dents or buff out scratches, before they are finished off and ready to ship. I should get back to work though. Well, it was a pleasure meeting you, Amai" he said before giving the fennec a few more pats on the head, who chuckled. "Take care of him, Jason," he said before heading off down the hallway.

Jason stuck his tongue out at Nadir. "Right, right." Then he looked down the hall and spoke to the cougar: "Okay, time to head this way."
Relieved but still a little nervous, Amai followed the diminutive fox.

"We are going to the electronics area. The door is locked, but there is a window." As they went down the hall, coming up to said window, he smiled: "Alright here we are..."
Jason eyes went wide as he looked in the room - two figures in there having a full make out session.

Amai joined his little guide at the window; the moment he peered inside, he had quite the sight to behold.
The first figure was a six-foot tall husky, silver hair flowing down to about mid-back; his labcoat was down a bit, covering his lower half. Black fur with silver from his face down his neck, and probably lower too. The other figure was a four-foot-eight, black footed cat. They were pulling down on the husky's tie to keep them at their level. Their fur was a cinnamon-buff color, almost very light orange, with black oblong spots along their arms. Going around their neck were horizontal black stripes, which were also on their tail wrapped around the husky's leg.

The cat's ears twitched as they heard banging on the window. They reached for a nearby brush and used it on their short spikey teal hair. "Using your brush, pup..."

Looking over to the window, a set of gold eyes locked with Jason's gaze; the feline let go of the tie. "Looks like playtime is over, puppy." He reached to help pull the husky's labcoat up before walking towards the door. He wore a pair of light purple jeans and a pair of black boots as he came out, glaring Jason over. "Just know when to show up and ruin our playtime, don't you?" the feline sneered at Jason, his tail tip flicking back and forth in agitation.

Amai watched the makeout session before his eyes seemed to gloss over, the flames on his ears went out as a bit of smoke came from them. He stood there as his mind had short circuited, he only saw similar things in some of his...private books. As the argument began his mind snapped back to reality..shaking his head he looked around some saying softly to himself "Where am I?" before everything came back to his mind. His ears relit like torches before calming down to normal size ~I think my brain short circuited there.~

The husky came out shortly after closing his white collared shirt with a black tie. A pair of loose black dress pants and black dress shoes. His brown eyes glanced shyly at Jason. "Sorry... we thought we still had time on our break," he said, moving his hands up to his face to hide its redness.

Jason looked at the feline and grumbled as his tail bristled behind him: "Listen here, kitten. I was told to show our new heavy laborer around the place, not a cat playing with his toy." His fur bristled more as he stared down the feline. "His name is Amai. Now, introduce yourself and get back to work. And I mean on the circuit boards, not your pup."
As the husky heard of the new person, his tail wagged excitedly behind him. "Oh hi! My name is Kaoru. Can call me Kao or Ru... or, friend."

The cat's tail tip swung about faster as he got stared at by Jason. "Fine." As he turned towards the new guy, Amai spotted on his stomach, right above the belly button, a yellow tattoo; he wondered if the others also had the same. "My name is Astri, I work in electronics with my puppy," he said using his tail to point at the husky. "Hands off him. Play with any of the others though," he added in a feisty tone.

Kaoru's face blushed. "Yeah, no playing with me though." He extended a hand out to Amai, revealing the yellow tattoo on the back of his right hand.

Reaching out Amai shook Kaoru's hand before looking at the possessive feline. "Of course, Astri," he smiled as he swayed his tail behind him. This tiny cat was quite a bundle of nerves, he shouldn't let that get to him. "Ahem. Look forward to working with you both."
The pair nodded before heading back into the lab getting to work as Jason's fur settled down slowly. "Sorry about that. Astri can be a handful at times, but a good worker and isn't as... mouthy, when you get to know him." The fennec shrugged and turned to leave the room.
"I don't mind that," said Amai on Jason's heels.
"Now then, last person you need to meet is the janitor. You may end up helping him some days." Jason said heading down the hall to check the supply closet.

As the pair came up to the supply closet, the door opened and out came a wolf, wearing a jumpsuit to keep his normal clothes clean underneath. His fur seemed to be ebony black, from the snout all the way down to his tail, eyes an almost silver color. He stood roughly six foot four inches tall, towering over Jason his long black hair with white tips, coming over to the two other canines.
Holding a broom in his hands, he looked at Jason, beaming: "Hey, there's one of my favorite foxes!" he said leaning down to kiss him on the nose, and was met with some cute chuckles. "Showing the new guy around, I see. Well I knew you was the right one to do that," he said looking Amai down; he also had the yellow tattoo on his left cheek. "My name is Larkin, I'd stay here to chat with you but, I got some cleaning to do, stop by later we can chat then and I can get you started with some work."

"Right will come back after this tour is over Larkin, nice meeting you." he began to think out of everyone he was the most sane. As the wolf went on his way he watched him before Jason poked his side "So where else we gotta go?"

Looking at Amai he poked his side a few times "Just upstairs, see your place you will be staying and then you are done..paperwork can wait. Follow me." he went over to a door, opening it lead to a staircase which he ascended "We each got our own little place. Comes with a shower, small kitchen, small living room and a bedroom." getting to the next floor he opened the door heading down a hallway. The floor was hardwood as they came to a door numbered 8 "Here you go...if you need something dont be afraid to ask someone." he said handing a key over.

Amai followed after Jason, he stayed in pace with Jason trying to avoid looking up to see his rear. As they got up there he was given a key "Wait...that's all mine? I would of been happy just having a bed and bathroom." as Jason walked off he waved "Thanks I will if I have anything I need." opening the door to his new apartment

[in case the time flow feels off this next part takes place a month after starting work]

Walking down the hall between apartments, Jason stopped in front of Amai's door and knocked. His black head wings started to lazily stretch out a bit as it opened to reveal the half demon, who'd been cleaning his dishes in the kitchen.

"Hey Amai, you are coming with me to meet up with Nadir and Richard." He stood there in a pair of loose black pants, a sleeveless white shirt and a pair of black tennis shoes. Whereas Amai was in just a loose fitting white t-shirt and a pair of joggers. "Come on, hurry up! We gotta meet up in like ten minutes. You don't get a choice in this."

"I... wait, where are we going? Why don't I get a choice?" the cougar protested drying his hands, before he felt his arm grabbed by Jason and being dragged out. "Okay okay, I'm coming," he whines as he comes outside into the hall and closes the door behind him.

Jason continued dragging Amai down to the main floor to head out to the town. "Yeah as I said, we are going to meet Richard and Nadir. No time to tell you what we are gonna do," he said pulling Amai through the streets. "You've been cooped up inside all week. We wanted to get you out to decompress from work."

Still getting tugged along, Amai just allowed it as he could easily resist. "I'm fine really, just wasn't a guy who went out and did things." He thought for a brief moment: "Well, I did hunt and fish. Oh, we should do that sometime. I can show you guys how to take a deer down, or we could find a bear."

Hearing all that countryside nonsense, Jason rolled his eyes. "No, no. You are gonna get some normal downtime activities, and hang out with your coworkers and friends."

Amai resigned to this fate, then had a broad smile on his face at that last word. "I didn't know you saw us as friends. All my other jobs... people were nice to me on the job but, after the workday they didn't wanna hang with me."

"Well, it's too bad they didn't. You seem like a great guy." Jason spoke dragging the cougar

Amai chuckled some as his tail swayed behind him looking over Jason. "I didn't know you wore anything other than latex and leather."

Jason's ears twitched on his head some looking back at the cougar. "You know, I do have more than one outfit..." As they got near the place they were gonna meet up, he chuckled some seeing the familiar faces near the entrance. "You though? Sometimes, we wonder if you brought more than three."

Amai looked ahead to their destination too, it was a clothing store with Richard and Nadir waiting on them. "Oh no, no, no!" he argued pulling his arm up against Jason's sides with ease.

The fennec's legs began wiggling in the air as he was lifted off the ground. Turning to look at his companion, his ears went down as his eyes opened wide, starting to quiver his lower lip. "B-but, but. We wanted to hang out with you... and see you in some new clothes." His tail also drooped down and his lip quivered. "I guess you can... just go home... I'll let the guys know you didn't wanna come hang out."

Remembering how Jason had called him a great guy, Amai's heart sank seeing the fennec get so sad. His earlier determination collapsed, he brought his arm down and conceded: "Alright, you win," he muttered, leaning down to him: "I'll go and try on whatever you guys want, I'm sorry, please don't be sad."

After getting what he wanted, the fennec grabbed him by the face and gave his nose a kiss. The cougar's face went bright red as the flames on his ears shot up like torches. Jason's mood had shot up as quickly as it'd dropped. "Oh, thank you! I know exactly what I want you in right away. Come on let's go!" he giggled dragging him along to Richard and Nadir, while Amai was dumbfounded by the full 180 degree turn and kiss on the nose.

Nadir stood wearing a pair of black leather pants and a long purple shirt. On his feet was a pair of black boots, tapping one as the two came up. "About time, thought you guys were gonna bail on us." He looked at Amai with the flushed face and blazing ears. "Turn those down, woulda you? Else you gonna set something on fire," he said chuckling before looking at Richard.

Amai blinked some? "I... uh, right." As he concentrated a bit, the flames lowered down to the normal levels.

The fox was in a pair of black latex pants and black boots, no shirt. He too, looked at Jason and Amai as they came up, and nodded along to the yote's words. "Let's get going. I wanna get some new outfits too, but... wanna see Amai in something other than a pair of joggers and a basic t-shirt," he said opening the door ushering them in.

The cougar looked at Nadir and Richard. "Jason didn't tell me anything till just getting here. Let's see what they got... guess I'll buy one new outfit."

He entered the store with the others; Jason ran off to collect clothing.

Richard smirked knowingly. "Just one set... yeah right."

Then the coyote leaned over to Amai wrapping an arm around his shoulders. "Sooo... I take it Jason used the look on you, huh? When he wants his way, he gets his way with that."
Amai chuckled some. "It was hard to say no when he did that... then he kissed my nose and dragged me here."

Walking with the cougar around various aisles, Nadir kept an eye on the fennec by following those large ears peering over the shelves. Richard was following behind, collecting clothes for himself.

The half-demon looked over some clothes, picking up a few shirts that were a size bigger than he needed. Finding the joggers, he was quickly yanked away by Nadir who'd realised what he'd done.
"Oh no, you don't! Put those shirts back and stay away from the joggers." Seeing Amai didn't budge, he grabbed the shirts and set them back on the shelf, shifting the topic back: "If you think it's irresistible when Jason does the sad pup look... when he and Richard do it in sync, there's no saving you."

Nadir coaxed Amai to the dressing rooms area while Richard also walked over there with three outfits.

"Alright, I got a few things I like. Now let's see what Jason has found for you, Amai." Rihcard chuckled as Jason could be seen coming their way, holding a stack of clothes so tall he had to look from the side to watch where he was going.

The fennec walked up to Amai and shoved the pile of clothes at him. "Alright, here. We will start with this." He ignored the other male muttering about what he'd gotten himself into. "I also saw some boots that may look great on you... what's your shoe size?"

Amai headed into the nearest dressing room, tossing over his shoulder: "Shoe size is twelve and a half." Drawing the curtain behind him, he could hear Nadir and Richard whispering back and forth. Removing his clothes, he looked over the comically oversized stack of fabric. "Great, where to start?"
In resignation he shuffled through it, and settling on an outfit he began to get dressed. Sliding the shirt on, he felt it was snug to his chest and abs, solid black and made from what felt like cotton and... spandex? As he picked up a pair of red latex pants, he saw most of the material was  latex and other clingy materials. Sighing some he began to put them on, then looking at himself over in the mirror. "Good gods, how do they breathe in these?"

Jason trotted back with a few boxes of boots as he joined Richard and Nadir, sitting outside the dressing rooms. "Has he came out yet?" he whispered, the others shook their heads. "Good, I didn't miss anything." He set the boxes down and jumped into a chair too, looked up to the closed curtain, speaking up: "Come on Amai, show us what you tried on first."

Sighing a bit, the cougar remained bare foot as he went to the curtain, and said without conviction: "Don't laugh... I'm not used to this stuff," he said opening the curtain.
Richard's jaw dropped a bit. Nadir whistled.

He stepped out in full view of the three of them, the black spandex shirt hugged his body tight enough to show the solid muscling he had under it. The red latex pants were snug in all the right places too, as he did a turn to show it off, his rear was finally revealed. Toned and firm, one could tell he kept his body in good shape. No wonder the guy could tear open solid wooden crates like tissue, or lift those armored panther chassis as if they were toys.

"How do you guys breathe in these? Or move around."

The red fox ignored the inquiry, gesturing at him. "Where the heck have you been hiding -that-, Amai? All those baggy clothes never showed how... ripped you are." His tail began to sway, then swish as he took in the view.

Jason had less restraint; he popped off his chair and ran over to Amai, moving his hand up all twitchy as if about to unwrap a present, he poked at the abs through the shirt. "Is that really you under all that? You could grate cheese one these bad boys!"

Nadir was also ogling him. "Okay, I agree with Richard. Where have you been hiding? I could only guess your arms were strong, seeing you walk with those Chassis like carrying a kid's bike."

The temperture in the room began to feel warmer as Amai was being complimented and poked at. "Oh, um. My fur hides all that, I guess. Plus, my clothes beforehand weren't tight."

The fennec's tail wagged as he slapped Amai on the back. "Not bad, but you should try more on. Oh and, take these." He ran back grabbing the boxes and forcibly handed them over. "Alright back in there."
Amai automatically grabbed the boxes and turned around. "Okay, okay."

Hidden from view again, he started to get undressed. "Getting into them is one thing, getting out..." he mumbled, before going through the remaining clothes.

Over the next ten minutes, the half-demon came out in different outfits; he was met with compliments or disapprovals from the other males. One of the sets was a pair of butt-less black leather chaps, a pair of  blue jeans underneath, and no shirt. He stuck his thumbs through the chaps' belt loops, shuffling awkwardly. "Couldn't find a shirt to really go with this. What do you think?" He looked at the three, who were just wordlessly staring at him. "What? Did I not put them on right?" he said suddenly very self-conscious, looking himself over.
Nadir stood up walked up to Amai, smiling in reassurance. "No, no. Just, you caught us off guard, coming out shirtless. Didn't expect that, especially for someone who blushes at the drop of a hat."

Rubbing the back of his head Amai smiled brightly, still anxious but enjoying the support. "Oh well, guess I'm just confident. In my village, I would often go without a shirt." Looking down at the outfit, he rubbed a hand down the chaps. "Maybe get this off, but I like the jeans. I have a pile of stuff I wanna get. Though, Jason... I think you got something from the women's section, there is a skirt in there."

Richard and Nadir stared at the fennec, he seemed to sink into his seat some then spoke up: "Oh it's um, a kilt."

Richard just clicked his tongue some, then turned back to Amai. "Yeah right, a kilt. Well, try it on, let's see what it looks like. Surely Jason has picked out a wonderful... 'kilt', for you."

Nadir leaned towards the cougar a bit, conspiratory: "How about this, Amai. You wear this 'kilt' Jason got you, only if Jason wears the same." He looked at Jason and pointed to the rest of the store. "Well, Chuckles? Go get one, and we will see who wears the 'kilt' the best."

The fennec didn't seem thrilled. "We came here to pick some clothes for the new guy."

"Aww come on, it's gonna be fun!" Richard said swaying his tail in anticipation

Jason looked at the fox and coyote, who were grinning devilishly. "It's not like you're gonna look girly in that 'kilt'."

Nadir walked back over to sit down as Jason slumped out of his chair and stomped off grumbling.

Amai went back into the room and yelled out: "Just say when you are ready, we will come out at the same time."

Getting undressed once more, he took up the 'kilt' in black and red pleats - it was very much a skirt. He called out: "Okay, I got an idea for mine. Don't worry, won't be long." He began to get dressed, waiting on the fennec to get ready too.

Jason padded back and into a dressing room, mouthing out "I hate you both" to the other two canids before closing the curtain.

The fox grinned wider. "Love you too, Chuckles."

Hurrying to take his tennis shoes off and get into the 'kilt', he yelled out: "I am ready," then emerged with his socks, keeping the shirt on though. He hissed: "There... Happy?"
Nadir faked a frown. "Oh come on, you can put on a smile for us, can't you?"
Whereas Richard got a good look and pointed at him giggling: "Oh this is great, wait till the others hear about it."

Jason stuck out his tongue and flipped them both off.

Opening the curtain up Amai walked out as well, in knee-high buckled boots, his black and red pleated 'kilt' swayed with each step he took. On top he wore a red latex sleeveless shirt hugging his chest and abs well. Walking a few steps, he did a twist; though he had to say: "Look... I know it's a skirt, I get it. But next time, just ask. I don't mind if it's just for a laugh."

Meanwhile Richard's head wings went erect on his head. "I... um. Well, I think Amai wins this."
The coyote was also taken aback by how well it did look on the cougar. Seeing the twirl, he whistled in appreciation. "Oh yes, we got a winner."

Jason's head wings went straight up too, before his face went full red. Looking over Amai he leaned forward a bit. "Oh wow... and if that's all it takes, I think I'll ask you to wear more things then." He almost toppled over when Amai grabbed him, lifted him up and spun him around. "Ack! Put me down!" He began to flail in his arms before his tail bristled up some.

Amai chuckled lowering him down to the ground, but hugged him close then dragged him over to Richard and Nadir to include them in a cuddle pile. "This has been a really good time. I haven't had this much fun in a long while." He began to let out a low purr, his tail swaying behind him. "We should hang out again."

The others hugged back while Jason said, muffled by the embrace: "Of course. You know, we go out at least two to three times a week. Sometimes {wolf} comes with us too, we like to eat out and hang around the city." As the purr caught his ears, he softly punches Amai on the side. "So yeah, come hang more. Be nice to see you outside of work... Now let's get going before I ask you to buy that skirt," he chuckled low nuzzling into the group.

Back at the rooms

Nadir and Richard made their way off to their respective rooms, while Jason stayed outside Amai's with him as the cougar set the shopping bags down.
"Hey," Jason said softly. "Thanks again for not getting upset about the skirt."

Amai looked back at Jason, then walking over to him he leaned down some, and cooed: "Actually, I bought it.

Jason giggled. "Oh, come on! You did?"

"Mmhm. If you ever want to see me in it, just ask."

Jason chuckled louder: "Nahhhh! I was just, you know, messing with you."

But the half-demon leaned in closer, looking into his eyes and put his arms around the tiny fox's fidgety frame. "My confidence got a huge boost today... and it's weird to say, that things I've been questioning are making sense to me." He began to lean his head up kissing Jason's headwings gently; which stood up on end and fluttered some, as his tail bristled and swished. Moving his hands up, Jason grabbed the cougar's cheeks and leaned up to kiss him on the lips.

Amai chuckled from the hands on his face, thinking he was gonna get a cutesy nose kiss. The moment he felt the lips on his own though, his body stiffened up and began to fall backwards. On instinct he grabbed Jason to try catching himself, instead dragging him along causing a yelp. They flopped onto the floor of the cougar's apartment, Jason landing on top with some chuckles. Amai's ears didn't flare up as before, rather the color turned to a soft red hue and his tail swished while laying there. "I..." He didn't know what to say, so he moved his hands up holding Jason and returned the kiss.

The fennec went to say something too, before feeling his lips captured by Amai whose hands held him close. He heard, even felt a purr coming from the big cat under him. It got Jason thinking to himself ~Who knew that a little confidence could get him like this?~

A cough could be heard; Jason and Amai froze.
Nadir was there tapping a foot as he looked at the two of them in mock anger. "Look... glad you two are getting along so well, but shut the door next time. Didn't expect to be walking this way and see two coworkers making out, like a couple of high schoolers." He saw Jason flip him off and grinned back, then used a wing tentacle to grab the door knob. "Night you two, just don't be too tired for work tomorow. We have a big shipment coming in... and I would make a few jokes, but they will be for tomorrow."
With that he shut the apartment's door and strode off to his own room.

After a moment of awkward quiet, Amai looked at Jason. "Do you think he knows?" he said teasingly.
The fennec bonked him on the nose with a finger. "I don't know, maybe he thought I was giving you CPR. You dork."

Sitting up on Amai now, Jason began to lean into him, all business: "How about we call it a night for now? We can actually set something up later. Maybe go out to eat this week and see a movie, see how you feel then? Just to be sure if that was just a boost confidence or how you really feel."

Moving his arms around Jason, the cat kissed his head softly; he couldn't say no to this little guy. "Okay. Though to be fair, you were my first kiss. Even a girl never kissed me before, so aren't you the lucky one."

He began to move his hands up Jason's back dragging his claws along the fur; the fennec shivered in response. "Wait, your first kiss?" Jason suddenly felt warmth, and not metaphorically.
The cougar nodded. "First kiss... and I want more. I think that would be fun but, you should get going while you still have a choice. I may be a... you know, but..." he leaned his head down whispering: "I could just eat you up."

Jason was now sure, temperature was rising, way too fast to be normal. "Also, why is the room suddenly so warm?"

Amai looked around. "I don't notice anything."

Jason's ear twitched before he pushed off the other male, wiping some sweat from his forehead. "Is that coming from you?" Putting a paw onto Amai's chest, he felt immense heat. "Oooh... oh yeah, we should stop."

The paw on his chest felt chilly so Amai shivered some, and let out a purr. "I mean, it could be... my other half is a fire demon."

"Well, then I'll set something up for this weekend." leaning in he kissed Amai on the nose, making it twitch. "Now go cool off before you set the sprinklers off."

Took the big cat a moment to notice Jason got off him. "I... right, I'll go take a shower or something."
The fennec opened the door heading out into the hall, chuckled some and shut it behind him.
Amai got up off the floor, and sighed heavily. "Okay, time for a cold shower."

Heading into the bathroom he began to undress, turned the cold water on and Amai got in. As soon as the water hit his body, steam began to come up with a loud hiss, seeping out of the shower cabin.
This weekend... he couldn't wait. "First date... I should call dad tomorrow and tell him," he muttered to himself as the steam still wafted off his body. Finally after about five minutes it stopped, so he shut the shower and began to dry off, getting ready for bed.

Chlorination is sometimes called "cheat mode for latex" because it makes it much easier to put on without anything like talc.  It does make the outer surface less shiny, but they may potentially have fixed that in Furrae.

Huh I never knew that, makes sense too so Maybe go back and alter that wouldn't be hard. Just remove the powder part lol.

Soon this week gonna start a new chapter or should I just keep everything in one topic for easy access? Currently asking people how a fight looks format wise and getting three different responses lol.

If anyone would like to give feedback let me know in dm
