Nice sinister expression from Jinx there.
Also I have to wonder whether Jinx has really gamed this out that much. Like even if he can conceal his new job from his old friends until...you know...that's just going to make everything much harder than if they already knew by then.
A central philosophical issue with worlds, possible or impossible, is how they represent what they represent. This is obviously connected to the problem of what kind of things they are. Perhaps impossible worlds are metaphysically different from possible worlds, and represent in a different way. Or perhaps they are metaphysically on par with possible worlds. Or, they may be taken as nonexistent objects. Or as abstract entities which represent by encoding...

Obviously, his luck with deception ran out at some point in his mortal life (The "Anything You Can Do, I Can Do Better" routine might not be canon, but I believe myself fully justified in accepting his execution by hanging as valid). I am a little curious how well he'll fare with it now that he's dead.
