"A Wizard Did it" is standard on any insurance claim, after all.

"From the moment I understood the weakness of my flesh, it disgusted me. I craved the strength and certainty of steel. I aspired to the purity of the blessed machine."

InhumanInterest

I just realized I don't think I've seen insurance come up in a fantasy setting before. That is, functioning insurance, we did have a brief instance of it in Discworld before it caused a city to be set on fire. It does seem like you'd have a whole new range of problems and things to insure.

"But I have polymorph insurance! She turned me into a newt!"
"But you're not a newt anymore?"
"I got better."
"Well then we'll have to deny your claim, have a nice day."

And that's without divine magic. I have to imagine "Acts of God" clauses require reworking when gods are actually directly involved with things.
