Isn't it convenient how everyone runs away before the nature of the curse is explained... then again, it would probably have made the comic a lot shorter.
I'm assuming that the curse is giving Key some kind of split personality... but I guess we'll find out next time.

Definitely convenient on a narrative and comedic level, on a personal level every time they run away from it I chew through a foot of drywall in sheer frustration.

My guess used to be that it blanked the bearer out from a period of time. But the split personality is sounding a lot more likely. Especially with the most recent comic.

I notice that Key's eyes appear to be affected as well. They're blue here, whereas they're usually green. Interesting side affect.
