Given Fa'Lina's powers and ability to target people in just the right way, it's more like spear-phishing.
Either way, staying a little longer might not be a bad idea...

Given how Dan generally is you pretty much need the harpoon option to get through to him unlike most people that just need the hook.

No sign yet if she's aware of the incident with Hizell's zealot at the inn or whether that would affect how well Dan is "skewered".

Sometimes the harpoon option is necessary, and a lot more literal.

If Fa'lina will allow campus visits...

Maybe as those Zealot's will only be after Pyroduck, and there is a Mab on the premise, Fa'Lina likely figures everything is fine. And she is more than likely referring to Hizell himself acting directly than easily silenced subordinates.

True, but if those subordinates saw someone with Destania's wings, their priorities might change very quickly.

Agreed.

Pyroduck is an embarrassment to the line, an untidy end to clean up.

The son and sole heir of Cyra, on the other hand, is the king-piece. Capture him, and it is checkmate for Cyra's clan. Which is why so many clan leaders are urging him to get check-mating and producing offspring.

Also, apologies to those in the North American midwest. I didn't realize purchasing a copy of Frostpunk came with such realistic special effects.

Heh, "check-mating"!
