The joy of having to brave my own archives to get old references. For those wondering, THIS was the comic they mentioned. It is always weird for me because it didn't feel that long ago I did that strip yet apparently its a billion years old.

Style shift is always a wacky thing. Going through the old Kria images...while there is still a sense of "dat Kria", there is also a lot of just trying to figure out what worked or what I was even doing in the first place. If there is anything I have learned from comics its that "Amber is notorious for forgetting about jewelry" and "Amber is awful at keeping track of stripe based markings". At this point though I am pretty certain I can do Abel's spots in my sleep.

I'm realizing that Amber's per-comic comments do not actually stay around with the comics when you archive trawl, so we might as well start immortalizing them here.
