I'm struggling to see the joy here.  Unless things have changed, or Biggs was lying, Edward is probably somwhere in Hizell's domain where being 'Cubi carries the death penalty.  Dan, being most precious to his clan, is not going to be able to go there in person and even sending allies is going to be a problem in that they can be made to give information about Dan that would be disastrous for Hizell to learn.

Also we have the clubbing scene coming up, and that has the potential to wipe out a large chunk of the cast.

Regardless where Edward is now, his whereabouts is in the focus of Destania, which automaticalls makes this a desaster area.
Well, Taun may not know the full implications, so it may sound like a joyous information to her. But we know better.

Well Taun is already pretty pumped for the next war to start, so once it does, "rescuing imprisoned allies" will definitely be on many priority lists.
