Tape: Are they actually Danish pastries? And is there actually a Denmark at all in your world which has two names I can't remember?

Merlin: Yes, every world needs Danishes.  I cannot explain how they would be called the same thing but for reading convenience though.

Tape: I have the same problem with whether Ohm's Law should be called something else or not in Furrae
Tape: Though thinking about it you could have called yours cinnamon pastries or cinnamon buns or something.

Merlin: Yeah, I probably could have gone with some fruit pastry instead

There's probably a ton of silly reasons for why it's called a 'danish'. My favorite idea is that they just needed a word that sounded... sweet.
