I wonder if Richard considers 'Cubi adventurers to be "traitors"?

And what is that thing Michael is standing next to? I can't tell.

... I can actually agree with Richard's viewpoint. But that's because I'm not a vegan.

I remember, when writing this chapter, worrying that Richard's arguments would be too convincing and I wouldn't be able to provide a rebuttal.

I guess Richard is a prime example of the "lawful evil" orientation. Probably evil people don't see themselves as such because their judgment is solely based on their own values, instead of values generally agreed upon.

Actually, his values are based on the generally-agreed-upon values of his kind. Compared to the 'higher-tier' creatures (Cubi, Demons, Angels), Beings aren't "People" any more than real-world wolves, cattle, and gophers are.
