Wasn't this question already asked and answered with a good old fashioned Louisville Kneecapping?

It is a stupid question, and the answer is obvious.  Fluffy is seven, and appears to be a dog(?).  That means that Fluffy is neither a boy nor a girl, but the equivalent of a full grown adult.

...who may be a man or a woman.

Well, it would be unusual for a male human to wear a bow, but Fluffy isn't human.

If I owned a bow tie, I'd wear it all the time, too.  But a real bow tie, so that you could untie like Sinatra it at the end of the evening.

Fluffy appears to be unique, so the question is moot.

Beware the Maboriginals!

Unless Fluffy is Asexual and reproduces trough cellular division... or an hermaphrodite.

I'm voting for a girly boy.
My argument
- The way Fluffy acts indicates male.
- The bow indicates female
- the hair is somewhat gender neutral but a little on the male side because it's anime based.
- Lets not forget the long eye lashes that many females like to wear, same with girly boys.

*continues explaining how Fluffy is a girly boy until Fluffy hits me with a bat saying that 'he' is a she*

Yes, I do post just to see my own words on the screen.

xHaZxMaTx

Those all seem like reasons Fluffy's a boyish girl rather than a girlish boy.

Whichever way ... Ambers face in the last panel is priceless.  :P

I would think fi's gender is more questionable...although I prefer he be male.

Given that Fi in his current form isn't capable of procreation as far as we know, I'd say he's not-applicable/none. Similar to when you build a robot, and you don't say it's male, female, neutral, or herm.

(I know I'm mixing he and it here, but I'd use it as a denotion of lower significance, as the robot has no name)

I'm on the sides of "Fluffy is a girl", and "Fi may be gender-neutral, but leaning boy" stances.

It just seems that way to me.

...okay, I spent the last ten minutes searching fruitlessly for it, but I swear Amber referred to Fluffy as female in one of her rants.  I'm inclined to agree with her.
