Hi hi all

Well I recently bought a keyboard for my 7inch tablet.   Since my tablet has a micro usb slot I purchased one to fit.   Now the keyboard is here and doesn't seem to work as on closer inspection the blackberry playbook micro usb is un powered.  If I have the reasoning correctly that means I can use it to charge the tablet itself but nothing else can draw power from the tablet.

Is there anything I can do.  Since paying return shipping will cost as much as the keyboard itself did

Probably the best answer is keep it in case you can use it on some other tablet later.    The Playbook seems to be a dead end, sadly - RIM don't appear to be updating it.

In theory it is possible to enable host mode, but in practice I don't think anyone has unless they hacked the device prior to installing the 2.1 update.
