We've already seen Cubi make long term plans and carry them out. Sure, they may stop for muffins or cupcakes several times in the process (or whatever they enjoy), but they eventually get around to doing what they set themselves to do.

I'm not sure that Aniz counts as "doing what they set themselves to do"; sure, he got Abel to SAIA, but he totally screwed it up on the way, and only succeeded by killing everyone who got in his way and using brute magical force to get there.
