Going by the way Chicki always holds itself and the way it is clinging to the shower curtain I am willing to think that Chicki, no matter what the physical gender is , is female.

If you go by the Demonology page picture of the one male, then you might see a subtle difference in shape of the exoskeleton.

The page does make it sound like they have a male and female gender. Though going by insect standards, one has to wonder if she is a worker, or possibly a future queen that got a rebellious streak and left to explore the world above?
