Given the popularity of last year's thread, I decided to once again ask everyone about how their holiday went, now that the holidays are winding down for many of us.

Here is the questionnaire format:

What holiday(s) do you celebrate?

Who did you spend them with?

Did you do anything special and festive for them?

What special things did you eat for your celebratory feast, if anything?

If your holiday(s) are gift giving ones, what did you get?

Receiving gifts is good, but giving is better.  What did you give to others if your holiday(s) are gift exchanging ones?

Finally, if you do exchange gifts on your holiday(s), what did others get that you were envious of?

Once again, I'll start the thread off.  Unfortunately, the gift lists aren't as long this year as they were last year, since the value was distributed differently and money was generally tight all around.

Christmas

My mother, father, and brother

Did you do anything special and festive for them?
Christmas:
Nothing besides trimming the tiny tree at the ranch.

What special things did you eat for your celebratory feast, if anything?

Turkey
Stuffing
Gravy
Sweet Potatoes (still acquiring the taste)
