I hadn't really though much on the subject that she was telling me to go and look into over there because there could be something trying to attack the north from the sea and take out the south via a tube through the mountains which are just lovely this time of year that the Black Death swept through the countryside of Europe, killing hundreds upon hundreds of toys all available for the low, low and feeling quite depress the button and destroy the world as we know of gravity that bears down upon all living things in this room that we're talking about right now. She confused me greatly.

I imagine they can count, however, how high they can count is anyone's guess. My three year old nephew can count to ten, but i don't know if he actually grasps what he is saying is related to actual quantities or if he is merely repeating sounds.

Nah, he actually performs his own vocals, I'm just not sure he grasps the concept of the numbers he vocalizes as actual counting. easy enough to test; may do that the next time I see him.
