Turnsky

Okay, let's sum up this month so far, good and bad.

Bad things:
Eldest cat died  :<
father lost his job.
toilet clogged.
financially stressed because stuff to try to unclog toilet did not work. (forty bucks for a liter of sulfuric acid concentrate, i shoulda just got the hand-tool)
hadta take the bus to see specialist (see father losing job) (twenty bucks round trip =p)
found out that i'm iron-deficient

Good things.
After seeing specialist, found out my disease may be in the long, slow process of remission, that is, i might actually be beating this thing.

all things considered, and finances notwithstanding, i think it all evens out, don't you?

Dragons, it's what's for dinner... with gravy and potatoes, YUM!
Sparta? no, you should've taken that right at albuquerque..

Sorry to hear about the job loss, but very good to hear you are beating this thing, keep at it man!

Kabbalist

I'll see your glue and raise you some duct tape. Or rather, I'll slap some on top, just in case.

I'm really sorry to hear that you're still having such a rough road of it, Turnsky, but I'm glad that you're seeing some light at the end of the tunnel. I don't precisely have your condition, but I've got one that's related to it, as I believe we briefly discussed in private messages back on the old forum. Getting into a full remission can definitely take a while and be a tough fight, but once you get there and get your system balanced out there's a good chance that you'll STAY in remission for a while...which in my case means "over ten years and still doing fairly well."  *knock on wood*

So, what I'm trying to say is "You can dooo eeeet!"

If nothing else, just stubborn the stuff into submission.

:hug Congrats on the beginning of beating your health problems.. and I do hope things look up for you in other areas  :<  Keep at it, dude, we like having you around ^_^

McCloud

I'm really sorry to hear that. If it makes you feel better I also lost my Job at IP (international paper) and learned my best friend had a brain tumor all in the same day.

This thread has made me revise Turnsky's status from "In dire need of extreme medical and financial assistance" to "Person most in need of divine intervention at this moment in time".

McCloud

alright turnsky just stick in there and don't give up you'll pull through and do great job.

Oh, maybe now that it's starting to go into fall in the big down under, he'll start doing a bit more work.  He has said that he doesn't work to well in hot stuffy conditions in his house.

TheJimTimMan

I suppose that depends mainly on how much life decides hate him over the course of the next few months. Either way, it's good to see that at least something's looking up for the guy. No halfway-decent person should have to deal with as much he has over the last few years.

Turnsky

apologies again, events over the past few days have left me completely deflated and worn out.

i spent the past few days burying kittens that just up and died on me.. that and one of the nosetabs fell off my glasses. yeah, it hasn't been an ideal week for me thus far.  :<
