What's funny, and I love this.. is that they changed that policy months ago.. and people *still* cling to it as though it was the case, without even bothering to find out if it was still true.

That may be.  I assumed that he was referring to embarrassing and/or compromising facebook photos being passed around everywhere, rather than Facebook's data retention policies per se.
