Recognize the character making a cameo in the latest FoxFire Chronicles?

This isn't the first time that strip has featured cameos of some of Amber's characters,

Pantastic. As Ink said.

As for me, I shall pan to the right, and vanish once more.

I wonder if we can cook up any more puns? I'm not sure I want to know...

Either way, it's always fun to spot a familiar face in a cameo.

Keleth

Good to know you're all having a wokking good time with this underpaned joke.

I refuse to pander to this threads demand for puns.

Actually,  she first appeared about a month ago.  It seems to be an indication that some of the readers aren't the sharpest knives in the drawer if it took this long to spot her.  (And the spotted one showed up a while ago also.)  You'll just have to read that strip more often if you want to get an idea of what's cooking.  :)

Edit:

Okay.  My bad.  My ego has deflated like a souffle when an elephant goes tap dancing by.  I know it's weird.  However, it still somehow doesn't look like Aniz.  I realize that it is.  Maybe it's the smile.

It's Aniz.  With a frying pan to the face.

Of course we all know of the home economics teacher.

And Joe gets a no-prize.   The home-ec teacher and Dr. Ink don't count, since their appearances in DMFA are cameos to begin with.

I really didn't think it would take so long for someone to mention Aniz's name..

A 'no prize' is still a prize.  I thank you for that. :eager

Technically i've only Cameo'd 3 DMFA characters, Dan, Abel & Aniz.. Ink and Kittah are cameos in their own right, even in the DMFA-verse.  >:3

Strictly (pedantically) speaking it would be Abel and Aniz, Dan having been co-opted by Amber but not originally her own creation.

Yeah, but didn't Amber say something about owning Dan outright nowadays? I thought she worked that out with his player. If that is the case then it's the same as certain DC comics characters that have been bought up by that company. If Plastic Man shows up in a marvel comic it's a DC comics cameo because DC owns the character. It's not about who created them but who owns them.

That's what I meant.  She's taken him over, but he wasn't her original creation.  Depends how nitpicky you want to get  >:3

As would be member of the entertainment industry, I tend to sit on the ownership side of the fight. She may not have created him but she did go through the work of aquiring him, which in the end makes him hers. Thus making him showing up a dmfa cameo.

In irc terms /me LOVES to nitpick.

there might be some disparity between what Dan was, and what he is now, no?
Meaning while Dan isn't Amber's originally, she made him her own.

I thought it was a metal.

Yeah, but he said Chev so I thought he was referring to the car brand. Since I don't know of any metals or planets named Chev.

Aniz deserved to be paned in the face like that. He deserves it and a lot more in fact for what he did to Abel, even if this a parallel comic universe thing counterpart and doesn't actually fit in to the whole DMFA history since Abel is near.

And a unrelated  :ot note is that this tread is responsible for me having started to read FoxFier. The moment I read that Aniz got paned in the face I just had to read it.

Keleth

Yep, sorry :x Meant Ford.

Mercury was a company in the last automobile company depression that went under and Ford bought them/acquired them.

But, I geuss that means that Ford doesn't really own that company, because it originated somewhere else.

I love internet logic  >:3
