Yarrr! Avast, mateys! This here now be a thread where ye can only speak like a pirate, arrr! And I must say, Niall makes a dashing scoundrel, and Kirian is a fine parrot! And all know that the meaning of life is treasure! Treasure and wenches! Not winches, though those be mighty useful on the sea! Yaarrr! Yo-ho-ho!

Also, if anyone has hints on making water look better, I would like to know. I'll need it in a few weeks.

The frills, you mean? I told Ren about that. It is better. Originally it looked like he had three boobs.

I kinda liked the frills more. A pirate shouldn't have such a flat chest.

Here's a couple of more questions from a reader. Why did Niall dress as a pirate? Who took the photo? Was Niall aware of such photography? Why does Yak still have it?

I don't know about canon, but in some of my writings I posited a similar celebration:

From the second panel, Niall is very much aware of it. I don't know what Ren had in mind, but my reasoning is that it was some kind of ren-fair thing, which Niall is happy to be photographed at, while not necessarily being happy to have said photograph widely distributed.

Well, as of Tuesday we were in danger of having the strip completed in time this week, but Ren seems to be offline again. Since the main strip will require an entirely new backdrop, I don't know how long it will take even after I get the lineart.

'Walk in the woods' will be updating on schedule tomorrow, though. With luck I'll be able to clarify things with the main story by then.

I am beginning to suspect that Ren's internet connection has gained sentience, and is an anti-furry.

I hope we reach him soon. And at least WitW will be up tomorrow.
