It feels odd starting a new thread for episode 4 when it's just about to end.  I might try out my new superpowers and splice in the relevant part of the original discussion thread.

Either way, Page 33 is up.  Aside from Ren, thanks go out to Shadrok for the flashback, and Keaton for the loan of her character.  It'll take a while, but barring misfortune along the way, we'll see more of her.  A lot more.

Keats looks nice in a skirt

Ren said she looks kind of like Florence in Freefall.

... any female of canine persuasion in a dress looks like Florence. It's one of those things with Flo being the first and most popular.

I wouldn't think much of it myself...

Slight correction in the text: 'executed' -> 'devoured'.

Thanks.  It started out as a joke, but then I realised it would make a seriously awesome way to end the episode.  The beam is made up of three layers and was my first successful attempt at making a glowy effect with Gimp.

I also really like the look of that KillSat.  However it's giving me Austin Powers-esque moments.  I keep thinking of quotes like "Mini-me... quit humping the laser.  Why don't you and the laser get a frickin' room!"

Tapewolf

Oh, before anyone asks why it seems to be ionising the atmosphere even though it's in orbit, this is the satellite as Joshua imagines it, not the real thing.

Page 34 is up.  Enjoy.

I note that the "special thanks" and the "big finger" go out to the same people. Or at least, the same person, in my case... ;-]

This COULD just be one huge mistake... that would be embarrassing.

Joshua: "You saved my life, TWICE! Now I'm going to accuse you of building a super-weapon!"
Jakob: "Wut? O.o"

Nah. Josh is all like: "You have saved my life, but my duty stands first."

Oh, since I often do the backdrops I'd just like to point out that the satellite itself is Ren's design - I just did the beam and the colour work.

..And I feel obliged to say that the satellite's design is based on the GDI (Global Defence Initiative) Orbital Ion Cannon from the "Command&Conquer" game series. :3 Very loosely based.

I've now updated page 28, which was a composite page made from previous strips while Ren was away.

Kristopher looks a little odd in the first few panels (p28). Otherwise, very good.
