Over the weekend my brother came round, and while he was here, checked out the wonderful Malkavian Mod.  What he discovered was sufficiently striking that I've made a video to demonstrate it.

Well, of course. You'd think it'd be easier to dodge something designed to hit big lumps of steel, but hey... ;-]

The blast range on those is sufficiently big that it doesn't really matter whether you dodge or not.  The only real tactic that works is to get close enough that he won't fire.  For some reason it looks like he can only try to kill you once - if you manage to stall him, he'll just glide around unable to fire on you.
