I've never seen that word before.. Is it the same thing as Furry, for the most part, or somethign different?

Also, how is it pronouced? I'm always confused with the letters ae like that..

Fur-A

And it is the fictitional land that Amber created in which DMFA takes place ;)
Though no one knows if it's the name of a continent or a planet :B Most of us go with planet, I believe.

'Furrae' seems to refer to both the land and the plural form of its inhabitants.  Singular is 'furre'.

furrae = furry + terrae
furry = anthropomorphic animal
terra = land

So, something like, "the land(s) of the anthropomorphic animal(s)"

Alternatively, take fur and add -ae to turn it into pseudo-latin. Same thing but doesn't sound as intellectual. :P

Silverfoxr

its also based on the game Furcadia - where dmfa was orginally based on

Brunhidden

thats been a long time though, at the moment DMFA is about as based on furcadia as Dragonball is now based on the ainchent story 'journey west'

and drink it from a fountain;
that is pouring like an avalanche,
coming down the mountain.

Ah, that clears it up. Thanks! ^^

I go with "world", as in, it can only be exited/entered by way of magic or plane-shifting technology (which I don't think Jyrras has gotten around to yet...)
