Yeah, the Wonder Twins were weird:

(also, the definitive Penny Arcade on the subject, which accuses the cast of being pervs, so workplace standards may apply)

On August 6, 2007, Mark Gagliardi drank a bottle of scotch and then discussed a famous historical event

(Some strong language, alcohol use, and in episodes 2 and 4, praying to the porcelain altar.  Episode 2.5 features Jack Black as a philandering Ben Franklin.  Not to be missed.)

The Border Patrol sure have it hard these days...
The people who commented counted 13 of them, but I saw 16 of 'em.

The last one was a border patrolman, and the others tended to run around the cars and then off to the right.

There was one who vanished off to the left of the camera, and 12 that vanished offscreen to the right. And two patrolmen, one of whom vanished off to the right early, the other one being the aforementioned last man out...

Quote from: techmaster-glitch on January 06, 2009, 10:26:29 PMUh, what did I just find?

I might ask the same question.

I never really watched the show because the writing seemed obtuse and the references were extremely ham-handed (the show in the clip, not the show being referenced).  But someone made an offhand reference today that made me look up this episode.

(in any case, they do a better homage to the intro earlier in the episode)

Sounds more like if Zero Punctuation had done a nature documentary.

Remember when we were talking about Fair Use before?  Nina Paley has produced a film that is currently in a sort of copyright jail--it tells the a traditional Indian romance to the tune of some jazz compositions recorded in the 1920s.  And there's the problem.  It seems that some of the songs are still under copyright, despite the fact that recordings of the same songs are now in the public domain.

Anyways, it looks pretty good.  My spies also report that promotional copies of the film are being sent out to people who donate to the cause.

First the trailer:

That reminded me of this cat adoption video:

This one I had to watch twice to see what happened:

And then there's this one I recently found for the anime When They Cry/Higurashi no Naku Koro ni. My brother's had the anime for a while and I've heard about it before, but this really drew me to watch the actual show. NSFW for bloody:
