Well, the plot twists or thickens (twickens?) either that is the kleptomaniac mage or the cubi has taken his appearance for some unknown reason.

It seems the party is falling apart before they reach the reach the evil dark lord, this time they can't blame any malevolent jewellery for it either.

edit: 'apparent' should have been 'appearance'.

It's worth pointing out - since some people missed this - that we never actually saw the person under the pile of clothes.
