Another case of an idiot taking poison as an aphrodesiac.

Lick the toad!

Seriously, this stuff should be legal to help rid the world of morons dumb enough to use it.

it would probably be easier to just put booths around with big red buttons that say 'do not touch', and send a lethal jolt of lightning to anyone dumb enough to press, and then dump the body down a chute.

of course make it childproof somehow, but not pigeon proof..... i hate pigons, and would love to see them fry along with the morons of the world who think its somehow 'cool' to do forbidden things

Maybe if we made it forbidden to be intelligent, they'd all become geniuses?   :B

I find it more likely that you could put a big red button with a picto-gram because most of your targets will be illiterate, or ignorant. Besides, with overpopulation like it is, we may not need to make it child proof. Humans are a renewable resource after all.

I think I have a plan for a useless 1/3 of our population. Take all the stupidest people and just shoot them out into space. Problem solved.  :boogie

shadowterm

yeah, but if they eventually adapt to live in a vacuum 1) we can't use that costly solution any more and 2) They have debatably become more advanced than us.

I'd consider the person who died, in this instance, to be a victim.  He was probably misled by the person who sold him the stuff.

Unless, you know, he ate it because he thought it would have a stronger effect on him if he ate it and disobeyed usage instructions. (well, he would have been right about it having a stronger effect!)

People need to be educated; if they insist on ignorance when offered the candle of knowledge, they deserve to live in darkness, but the candle must be offered.

I laugh, this and the discussion on not false advertising were right next to each other on the recent posts. :mowsmile

Yeah, whatever happened to good old fashioned Viagra? Don't people read their e-mail spam these days?

Seriously though, Reese, I doubt whatever he bought came with instructions, or ingredients, so you're probably right about him not knowing what was in it.

Aww, take pity on the dead guy, he obviously couldn't get it up/get a girl(/guy) through normal means.

The cost to launch them would be outrageously expensive. Better to gather them in dead piles to harness their decomposing energy, then use whats left for fertilizer.
Hooray ellipsis!

and lo, a douglas adams quote was used to reduce the population of the world by 33%, and nobody cared

well, the 33% cared, some of them, the few that had a clue what was going on, which means like five people gave a rats ass

possible upgrade- shoot them at a planet that is not habitable, but may become inhabitable when bacteria from their corpses begin to slowly terreform the planet by mutating into bacteria and such suited for the environs. toss in some lichen and mold and you got yourself a chia-planet

QuoteSpace is big. You just won't believe how vastly, hugely, mind- bogglingly big it is. I mean, you may think it's a long way down the road to the chemist's, but that's just peanuts to space.

Mental Hygiene? What's that? Sounds like a mental equivalent of a shower and shave.
