System originally listed here.

Hardware Report of Components is listed here.

It's a AMD's AthlonXp 2500+ Barton on an Abit NF7-S 2.0, current clock setting to 3200. I have pushed it higher, much higher. Graphics are provided by an x1600-Pro, and it's memory is only a gig at timings of 3,3,3,8.

The Bach Chassis 60mm fans have been replaced with new ones from Antec. The fan that originally came on the Abit NF7-S 2.0 has been replaced with a Vantec. Powersupply is a 400watt Antec.

Price: $500

Price Includes System Chassis, 3-day shipping, keyboard-and-mouse.  Sorry, no monitor with it.

Figured I would see if anybody around here would be interested. PM me if you are.

*Note: This does not have Windows Installed, nor will it ship with Windows Installed. Installed OS is Mepis Linux RC2 configured with my own spin including XFCE and the OCRemix Chrono Symphonic artwork.

First, thanks llearch.

Second: Kenji, the only laptops I have that are not being used are an older Sager Tablet with Wonky graphics, and a Gateway 733mhz P3 with no battery. If you really are interested in the gateway... I'd sell it off :)  I don't think anybody would be interested though.

Also, the shipping cost is likely to approach the value of the system  :B

on a whim from a comment Sienna made I did check customs to canada... actually wasn't that bad for standard shipping, about $20 than is budgeted for shipping costs.

However, I have shipped to the UK before... and I'm willing to bet that going there you would be right about customs charging as much for the system itself as it is to ship.

VAT on bringing things into the UK is 17%, or so. So... £42.50 on a £250 system.

Cheaper to buy a refurb off PC World, really.
