Arguments aside, I'm actually liking what I see of Sonic so far. He does look to have an even faster run speed than Fox (who I loved using for speed-runs through Adventure mode), and his animations are really stylish so far. His attacks look like they're geared toward combos, combos, and more combos with just a few "smash" attacks which should be fun for Sonic players and aggravating for everyone else.

He seems to mostly be a one trick wonder, but it's a very good trick...  seems like getting people off the edge with Sonic might not be too hard.

I'm sure SOnic will be  combo character.  The fast characters are usually too light to rely much on smash attacks.  Sheik, for example, as amazing as he is, has pretty weak smashes overall and makes up for it with amazing juggling.
