Is Destania the one who just hurt Abel in the most Recent Abel's story?  Yes.  Is she the one 'threatening' him.. in the current context, but you could also argue that his own father, Aniz is as well.  As for how Alexi saw her mother?  She mentioned her with fondness a few time in the main comic.  I'm not sure if there's any pictures of Destania holding baby Dan, but for some reason I think there is, though I can't be bothered to go searching back through the archives to verify that.
