Tricky.  Hizell would love to take out another of Piflak's children, so sending one of those to investigate Abel is risky.  While I'm sure she has non-'Cubi agents to send, Zinvth are going to be a bit cautious about letting random strangers visit Abel in case they're there to finish the job, alliances be damned.

That aside, I rather like the design of the deer person.

Calling it now: Piflak and/or Viv somehow knew about Dan/Regina's relationship, and want to have them reconcile to team up against a greater enemy or something.

Piflak enjoys some simple gossip and intrigue through Dan and Regina
Then someone connects the dots from Dan to Abel

That aside, I rather like the design of the deer person.

I like the look of the blue girl in the middle (otter?) its good to get a variety of antho critters, some times it feels like the bulk of them are cats or dogs.
