Title: 08/24/2012 [PF #223] - "Bring him back"
Post by: AmigaDragon on August 24, 2012, 12:37:16 AM
Whoever she's hoping to bring back, are they long gone or soul-trapped? If the former, I'm sure there's no way to get the right soul (if any) from the beyond.

See also the previous page.  (Or indeed, the first panel of this one).

There's always a way to do it, even if it means rescuing the soul through time-travel or pulling an alternative soul from a parallel continuum...

EDIT:

And here's a closeup of Happy Keaton:

That seems wrong. Keaton isn't a happy-fun-times sort, I would have thought.

At least, y'know, not without several dead bodies lying about...

Desperate times, desperate measures...

From Page's expression he seems to have some fury over soul eating. In other words Keaton's luck stat sucks

I don't know if it's exactly fury in Page's eyes, as much as it's staring straight into Keaton's heart at the moment.

If Page was familiar with all the races, he probably could understand why cubi would become self reliant on soul stealing. The whole point of the soul food was to get cubi off of real souls as a way to increase life and power.

Remember also that his parents died in the Page story.
