You're right, they don't resize, it justdoesn't let you upload if it's too big. :P Photobucket only resizes when the file itself is too big (1MB), not the dimensions.

A good tip: missing wings can be avoided by doing such things like asking to see a sketch before ink hits the paper, and if you did do that then... how did you miss your own wings? :P Also, patience with artist is a good thing indeed. :3
Considering that Taski has posted in his blog about all the hooplah that's been going on in his real life, I think it's only fair to give him a little slack.
Did you ask to see the sketch beforehand? Was there a set deadline? I know I've taken longer on my own commissions, but they get done and my commissioners are usually very understanding that real life takes a first priority.
Frankly, he really needs to drop the MMORPG (Runescape). I'm a big time gamer and I'm against them. All they do is suck away what little social life you have, along with your money.
The worst part about it is that he decided to pick it up long after I stopped, and even longer after I told him he should try it. >.>

I'd agree as far as commercial MMOs are concerned. I usually don't leave on a good note with those, they care little for their customers. However, I've found that if one runs their own server or plays a casual, free MMO, it's much better. That's why some of my fondest memories are of my own UO server and NWN and why I've been playing stuff like Space Cowboy, Pangya and Trickster the most, lately.

I finally got into the beta of a big-name MMO I've been waiting to play for a while (I won't name it for various reasons) and it was just a clone of another major MMO. There wasn't much to it at all. In fact, after all the promises made, it was just depressing.
So I've learned my lesson about paying for them. I still haven't found anything bad in the casual stuffs though because with the games I've mentioned, I can pick them up and play them for an hour or so, then put them down for a while.
Black & White II, the Movies and similar ate more of my life than that.
I just wanted to offer my thoughts on the matter, anyway.
Still, as for Taski, anyone can make a mistake with a commission. The last artist I commissioned to do a piece for me got the colours mixed up (even though I was specific). I asked him about it and he offered to recolour it, that impressed me. It hadn't mattered because I'd already recoloured the picture myself with the Gimp (hurrah for spectrum-swapping) but still. Most artists are reasonable if they're asked and the ones that aren't, one simply doesn't commission again, simple as that.

I love Taski's sense of humour. Not because it's 'random' (although that in itself is not something I'm above enjoying) - it's the way in which it seems to have some profound logic that's just slightly beyond your understanding.

The people that write these article are a motley group composed of skin-heads, Muslims extremists, and all the kids who want to replicate Columbine in their own neighborhoods.

Knowing as I do, nothing of this '4chan' group, I'm at a loss as to whether disrupting their board is a good thing. First of all, I can't be the only one who appreciates the irony of Taski's ongoing tolerance, seeing the best in people and so on. I really admire him for that.
Also, Tape's a clever sort, I find that very fitting and oddly ironic, considering. I don't object to the "furvert" label because there are some furs like that and indeed, some humans period (otaku Transformers, anyone?) but I'd rather be seen as a pervert than the other option, to be honest. That's probably why it doesn't bother me at all.
