I think Abel accepts them, now.  :P

The random graphs from nowhere, I mean.

Well, that seems fairly obvious. Also means Fi's size increase may be a good visual indicator of the magnitude of Dan's power boost. May be. . .

Perhaps the use of Microsoft products goes beyond the limits of what even SAIA is willing to accept.

I think we're safe, so long as we don't see any sentient, floating and all-knowing paperclips.

Yes... Abel is now learning the true power of the diagrams. Give yourself to the dark side, Abel: we have tables and charts.

Random thought: You know that Dark God that DP is trying to resurrect? What if it's Clippy?

No, you see, that's the next thing! He's trying to explain something to Dan, and suddenly realizes that he's holding a pair of puppets...

When will Abel now come out with a full scale presentation with Pie charts, animation of diagrams over time, and all the other stuff ...

You might not be able to activate Microsoft products inside SAIA.

Ah, I was partially right, partially wrong. It did "floodgate" Fi, but the output control was Fa'lina's fault.

They do teach grass-growing at SAIA, mind...

EDIT:  More to the point, programming is liable to cover a similar overall skill set to spell design.

Why doesn't Abel just flip the paper over? The instructions on that must lie somewhere within that thick stack of Magically Appearing Diagrams (tm) ... I'm guessing somewhere on page 183-184.

A job for Jacob Pettersohn, perhaps? Or would he prefer OpenOffice for its cross-platform nature?

More than one author has compared spell-creation to programming.

he probably needs to go get markers and somewhere quiet to think on how to draw it to best illustrate the point he's trying to get across

Seems to me like Abel's having a really crappy day and needs to take a nap. It also seems like this topic started as a discussion about diagrams, tables, and charts. Which I know nothing about.

So, if Fi's size increase represents a level up on Dan's part (presumably courtesy of Cyra), what does that imply about Dan's abilities?  It happened well after his fight with DP, so we haven't see anything of its effects yet.
