Title: 16/06/08 [DMFA #916] - The Thesaurus of Evil
Post by: Sid on June 16, 2008, 06:38:19 AM
Aaaaaaaaaaaand Amber has somehow managed to make the Death Knight look cute and adorable. :erk I'm not surprised, but I'm still amazed - and happy! :boogie

Too bad that Dark Pegasus is not overly impressed with his/her/its performance...

Poor, poor Death Knight. It will have to stop fighting Shanna and Aliyka to make his master pleased with him.
..And I still don't understand why are the feet of a Death Knight always on fire? I hope Darth Pegasus does not have carpets anywhere..

...Heck, you're right.
The pile of 'girls' is cute.
The Death Knight is cute.
Even Dark Pegasus is cute.

My teeth are going to fall out from reading too much DMFA. :U

Failure, indeed. And I note that Dan is still considered a girl.

Poor Dan.

Awesome.  I do like Pegasus.   I can see I'm going to have fun with this.
Presumably the noise is Shanna and Aliyka duking it out...

i wonder what we shall see next- dan giving a suckerpunch for being called a girl again, or possibly the two giant women in the other room doing something fun instead of violent as it seems they both have common interests.

I'm wondering if DP even saw any of these "girls" before now? He (seemingly) obviously hasn't noticed Hanna's non-bleeding stump yet (advantage to being dumped in a dark room, missed details). From the dressing-down DP's giving it, the Death Knight was sent to take care of Shanna and Aliyka (i.e. the "disturbance") and got distracted by these others. This tells me they have some minimal intelligence to follow orders, not extensions of DP's will.

Post by: llearch n'n'daCorna on June 16, 2008, 01:39:47 PM
Either the DK is intelligent enough to not want to go "arrest" Shanna and Aliyka...

... or the instructions were limited enough that arresting Dan & co fits.

This is the issue with creating creatures you can control with your will. Either they're stupid enough to require serious concentration to direct in anything unusual, or they're intelligent enough to be a risk. Hence why any truly creative Evil Overlord worthy of the name wouldn't touch such a creation with the archetypical ten-foot pole...

Hm. Deathknight-guy had better hope that that thesaurus doesn't put "slap on the wrist" next to "painful, drawn-out death." ;)

On a side note, the lighting in this comic is cool.

I'm not sure if this is on the evil overlords list, but really.

If you're going to have underlings, use ones that are able to speak!!!

I learned this lesson well after the GM let me play a pokemon trainer in this one GURPs game...

In just this flashback? Let's see, there were the two (and a half? :mowwink ) Mythos captors, Graz and Kass (at first glance, then revised), DP and Death Knight... That 's all I can think of right now, since I've seen no definitive indication one way or the other for the Amazons,  (apparently both of) the guards that dressed him already knew he's a guy, and Aliyka appears to know.

Outside of the flashback, I'll let others add to the count.

I don't know how psychotic DP is, but torturing something to death that has no self-will seems to be a bit of a hollow endeavour  :3

And I  can speak from personal experience that boys do NOT like being called girls.  And if Dan were MtF, I think the "thinks they're girls" comment would have completely destroyed any chances anyone in that castle had.

OK, so one of them is undead and one of them isn't a girl.  But there's still two girls there, hence it is a pile of girls, and a pile of girls is NOT a "failure".  8)

Hurrah, someone finally sees things my way! Just weed out the undesirables, and you end up with a perfectly good pile of girls to do with whatever you please.  :mwaha

One Undead girl, and one Mythos girl. And one NotReallyA girl.

If you filter out the undesirables, you're left with a pile of girl. Less than optimal.

Actually, in every language except English the inclusion of a male would automatically make the group masculine so it really is a failure.

Spoiling it with logic, the failure was in not stopping the demolition being perpetrated by Aliyka and Shanna. It got distracted from its task by finding the (DP thinks) trivial trio of Anna, Hanna and Dan.
