I'm not sure if I can tell the gender, but I think this demon might be a female.
It certainly is a fair point she makes. The only beings worth noting killing would be adventurers and those usually protect the villager beings that are easy to kill from the more impulsive younlings of the creature races.
Killing creatures that threaten beings are probably more notable then killing a village full of farmers.
An adventurer Demon? that's a first.

I wasn't sure at first either, since I left the specifics up to Toho. This is the original test art:

...which left me thinking they were a girl, particularly on account of the chest armour. However, he is actually an effeminate-looking guy. He's turned out sufficiently cool that I'm seriously considering giving him some future role.
