...to be embarrassed by his family. Then again, he might have ulterior reasons for panicking upon their mention. ;)
Also, Daryil seems to have a habit of handing out lollipops to everyone he comes across. First to his would-be assassin, and now to everyone in the room he's in.
I wonder if he used to be in a profession that would hand out lollies to those who sat nice and still for him?
Also, is Snell a raccoon cubi? :giggle
Snell arrested, executioner found dead, the world be changing.
Don't know in what way, but it's changing.
Me personally... I like See's Candie suckers and tootsie pops.
For some reason Daryil with lolypops... is terrifying.
I think I know why Dorcan is scared, it is the same reason why Joshua is not.
If I were in Jakob's place, I'd have reflexively hit Dorcan with my elbow. Probably bruised or broken something while I'm at it, but I *hate* people reading over my shoulder like that :P
I think everyone should be able to tell why Dorcan is scared. It's not that what the title suggest, although given the circumstances it would be awkward for him to invite his family to a party.
And oh, the lollipops. They never grow old. Especially with the expression on Keaton's face when she got hers. :D

It's even more terrifying in high-res...

Minor nitpick: PIN = personal identification number, therefore PIN number = personal identification number number

On the other hand, I know a *lot* of people who use the same phrasing. Just because a character says something inaccurate or redundant doesn't make it wrong, per se.
i think keaton's scared and confused at this point..

*Runs away screaming in fear*
I think Ren's probably been dragged off to the village again. Hopefully he'll be back over the weekend.
