Title: CVRPG & DSWC discussion 9/5/05 -- 9/9/05
Post by: Destina Faroda on September 05, 2005, 03:58:02 AM
I'm starting the obligatory topic, but if please forgive me for not saying much.  I'm sleepy.

CVRPG was good.

DSWC...Well it just seemed a bit...meh... I don't know why.

Dressing up Alec, aye? lol....yeah CVRPG was good, but DSWC...was kinda plain-ish. Oh well, I never liked the librarian anyway that's why I can't get into it rite now

Now that I'm awake, I can add a little more (but not a lot more) about the two comics.

So the foreshadowing of Comic 13 (http://www.cvrpg.com/Comics/comic13.php) looks like it'll play out.  This makes me wonder if Carmilla's going to be there.

The problem with DSWC is that Richter already knows Hanz was taking money -- heck, he showed him the treasury --  so this makes him look more than stupid...Then again it looks like Hanz got greedy.  Richter was only taking enough to pay his pay-per-porn.   Hanz took the entire pile.

(nods) It's the fact that he continued to take money after Richter was implicated that is the problem.

Depends on the college and your professors and peers. It's a different experience to everyone.

(nods) indeed. But it's good to try and find professors you can be friends with. They'll be a great way to waste boring afternoons.

I never got a student discount because the school didn't sell discounted software and I was too wary of putting my personal information on the Internet.

But onto DSWC and CVRPG.  CVRPG is long and great.  I didn't think one comic could develop, maintain, and close so many plotlines.  But it did.  DSWC was...interesting...it centers on an idea that I'm sure many gamers thought about when they had Mario rescue the princess.

The DSWC felt a little more generic than my normal fare, but then Mario and co. have been done a lot more in webcomic form than the CV crew.
