Though if things are changing and it doesn't involve Toning or Adharia's pet Efreet, then they might have more to be worrying about then just what they can see.
Who says anything has physically changed? What if only what they perceive has changed, and not the actual gun itself has been altered? What if the mob is not really there, but is only being used as a means of moving them to where the unseen overlord wants them to go?
