Title: The Things That Go Squeak in the Night
Post by: Nyil on June 29, 2010, 05:57:39 PM
Well, I suppose I should make my obligatory introductory post before I start posting/lurking/what have you. A few of you already know me, but for those who don't, I'm Nyil: artist, spaz, general basket case.

Hurrah!

Weeeelllll, I'm still not COMPLETELY convinced that not all forum members are evil and scary, but I've finally been persuaded into testing out these waters, so to speak.

Hi Nyil, good to see you around.  Remember to read the rules, the forum is not just about DMFA and so on and so forth.
Anyway, I hope to see you post stuff in the art section :3

Hey Nyil.

Enjoy your time around here. And don't go too far down into the forum. Or you might find monsters of shadow and flame.

Tsk, like I'd care about a silly thing like that.  I would be funny if I did, but then I wouldn't have posted in the arena as much as I have been doing since I came here all those years ago. :)

Hi, Nyil! It's nice to see you here! Even though I've already replied to a post of yours on another thread. But this is your introduction thread, so I greet you here. :hug

It was nice to meet you in person at AC too. :)

And postcounts don't really mean anything, it's just a lower bound of the amount of messages you've posted here, unless an admin has been playing with it in which case it's not even that. (I think they only do that with karma, though).

Sadly?  That's a good thing, isn't it?  Else, why would it be that way?  Secondly, you're condoning the use of post counts as an e-peen measurement and that, no matter how matter people claim otherwise, is certainly not true; we all know negative karma is a much more accurate representation of that. :P

We, or at least some of us, can. We don't, though. No real point. We all know the admins have the biggest e-peens. And possibly the smallest real ones, depending on if you're talking about Darkmoon or not... ;-]

And even going by post counts you can say nothing of note and still have a huge post count.

Your notice of nobody notating anything of note would've been noted, but since it wasn't of note, nobody will notice.
