...well that's unusual...
Ooh! Fi. I am distracted.
Fi: "Look Dan! Look! You can't see me!"
*Thwak!*
Dan: "Now you can't see me either."
Hehe, I was wondering about the clothing situation.
This... Has been the least climatic plot twist I've ever seen...
Because of that, it was also entirely unexpected...
I am dying of undrama.
Fi: Look, I'm Mr. Helmet Man! Wheee!!!
Actually, Dan has 2 outfits. The one he just slept in and what's left of the red and yellow number.
I suspect Alexi was in too good of a mood to care about whose clothes went where. Actually, I suspect Dan and Abel share the closet because Mab's Magical Kingdom is in Dan's closet.
Now, then. What sort of mischievous alterations will Dan make to Abel's wardrobe now that he has full access to it?
Well, I guess Abel's clothes have outed him (regardless of his status (http://www.missmab.com/Comics/Vol_1084.php)), since his clothes are definitely gay (http://www.missmab.com/Comics/Vol_1108.php)....... :P

Ever hear of "meterosexual" :p
Does explain a lot about the wardrobe changes, just wondering why it took Dan so long to notice >_>... though on the other hand, only now do I connect the clothes Dan has been wearing with Abel's after looking back a few comics, lol. Wonder if Dan is ever going to tell Abel that it was good protection against magic?
Dan has worn shirts before. Other than that they are in different colors, they look similar; and they look similar to the one he has now.

This just occurred to me, but thanks to this awesomely anti-climatic tid-bit, Dan and Able are the perfect couple. It's hilarious to me.
And Dan needs to go clothes shopping. That way he won't wear Abel's clothes no-more!

I vote for
teh shopping to happen. With Abel and Matilda.
They really are well-matched. Tweedle-dumb and Tweedle-dumber. "I just assumed you were stealing my clothes ..." is pure sarcastic win. They really could be brothers. Or married. Or mortal enemies, it's much the same.
Now, an ugly question rears its head (gods, I hate it when that happens). Is Dan also wearing Abel's underwear, or is he going commando in Abel's clothes? :erk Inquiring minds
are inquiring should be ashamed of themselves.

I think Abel's just being prickly. Dan has changed outfit a number of times, e.g. that slightly royal-looking shirt he wore in strip 676. Chances are the red one is just his favourite. And/or he has to wear it frequently to avoid Wildy asking questions.
...and ironically I'm reading this comic and forum post when, for the first time in easily months, I'm wearing pants that I'm not entirely sure are mine. (hey they've been washed, so they're fine).

That could still be Abel's clothes. If Alexsi started chucking Abel's clothes in Dan's closet as soon as Abel showed up, everything after strip 600 (http://www.missmab.com/Comics/Vol_600.php) is suspect.
Edit:
I can't find anything before Abel showed up where Dan wears anything else than that "red and yellow number". And I don't think strip 85 (http://www.missmab.com/Comics/Vol_085.php) counts.
Wait, I found one! Strip 292 (http://www.missmab.com/Comics/Vol_292.php).

Yes, but the 'prince' outfit is so amazingly different that you'd think he'd notice then if something was amiss. Then again, maybe not.
Oh yes.
The dreaded mixing up of the clotthing. I know you well.
Is their anything more disturbing than putting away your clothe's and grabbing a pair of your mothers underware out of the basket? :erk
I find it amusing that Dan hasn't noticed 'til now. I'll grant that I don't pay attention to my clothes that much- I just grab a shirt and a pair of pants in the morning, and if they don't match, too bad. But really, I would notice right away if the stuff I grabbed wasn't mine.
IT EXPLAINS SO MUCH! I'm laughing now that it's been pretty much stated Dan's entire variety of outfits are actually Abel's... Anyone from around when Dan first started spicing up his wardrobe remember how much discussion (if any) was about him being seen in an outfit other than his red-and-gold robe?
...Alexsi puts away their clothes? Geeez.
This is actually a big thing, and is going to haunt Dan for a long time. What's more, it disproves that characters can't get lucky "on-screen".
Dan got into Abel's pants! :bunny
Both Aaryanna and Jyrras will be jealous over this. I wonder how Matilda will react? Kria will be unhappy. Wildy will be obnoxious. Fa'Lina will show diagrams.

Kind of. I'm not surprised that Dan doesn't want to/doesn't know how to put away his own laundry, but I'm surprised that Abel is having Alexsi handle his clothes nad mostly surprised that Alexsi does the work instead of just telling them to handle their own laundry.
Agreed, I don't picture Alexsi playing 'maid' to anyone; I wonder if her current 'mood' isn't the culprit for her tidying up behind the boys, and her laundry service is not the norm.

The long boring reality aspect is Abel does his own laundry, but on occasion has not been the speediest when it comes to taking his clothes out of the dryer so Alexsi has a tendency to just grab whatever is in there and throw it on Dan's bed to make room for her own laundry loads.
I was going to word that out but really...it felt too boring to go into. :U

I call it being through. And don't feel like it's just you, on some of the RPG material I've done - as a player - I've added in laundry facilities too.
Props on Dan's muscles better reflecting his sort-of-retired-but-keeping-in-shape status.
Sometimes extra detail just happens, you create a character and they take on a life of their own, their life and characteristics maturing and evolving like a real personality. Makes for better characters and a more detailed fictional world.

You know, with a scene like that, the sarcastic ribbing on each other, if this was a soap opera, and given Dan telling Jyrras he could never return his feelings, Abel would eventually fall for Dan, kiss him, and then Dan would be all confused but would eventually return Abel's affection causing angst in our favourite Roo-rat. if this is leading to an arc about dan clothes shopping, would abel insist to come along or would that be against his charachter? at this point i dont know, he could insist due to thinking dan has no taste, or he could refuse dan begging him to help as he is afraid of the outside and of malls in general. an alternative is that dan takes jyrras clothes shopping for help, but that does not seem to aim much higher... dan in sweater vest would be funny though

He's a cubi - they do not even use the word flamboyant because it is their "normal" way of dressing - SAIA is a promiscuity haven that would give most conservative politicians a fit.

He's a cubi - they do not even use the word flamboyant because it is their "normal" way of dressing - SAIA is a promiscuity haven that would give most conservative politicians a fit.
Or have an Iranian cleric declare it to be the cause of earthquakes. :mowhappy
According to the statements of most conservative politicians in the USA, the Earth is a haven of unbridled promiscuity that gives them fits. The fact that they would protest SAIA is unremarkable. The real question is how many would join in on the festivities. (I suspect that the same argument could be made for the politicians of several other countries.)

Where? I demand to know this at once! ... dang, I feel that I'm missing out on a lot of fun. :crying

Every single one that can join without being recognized.

I wonder if that's a reference to the current Abel's Story. As in "Daniel's mom has got it going on!"
Destania's outfit has been good for a lot of comment. :mowhappy

It's a hit song (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stacy%27s_Mom). I've known that since
Fur Will Fly, the arc where they went to Canada (http://www.jadephoenix.org/fwf/comics/index.php?date=furwillfly20031119.jpg). I've never heard it, though.
Edit:
Found the video. Music is nothing special, but the video had some humour.
This discussion reminds me of an animation that Fred Perry did a while back... Took a while to find. ;)

Ahaaa ... so that's what it was all about.
Also, that animation rocked.
