Plot lines? We don't need no stinkin' plot lines!

Yeah, plot lines come with plot holes, and they're a pain in the ass to cover up.

We don't need that kind of work.

He had me right up to the "lesbian bondage" shops.

Any time a male comic writer mentions "lesbian" when such relationships haven't already been established, they're heading right into ye ole April Fools punchline.

Chalo (Of Las Lindas fame.) pulled that stunt last year and... Ah-ha! Here we go! http://www.katbox.net/gallery/main.php?g2_itemId=910 (http://www.katbox.net/gallery/main.php?g2_itemId=910)

Of course, to his credit, he played a similar joke the year before... With a male character...

Hey now, Carmilla is a lesbian. It wasn't totally out of left field.

meh, revealing something like that within a  plotline is not considered character development anymore. now if you revealed that she was impregnated by a werewolf AND a vampire, that she was sexually confused, and decided to become a thespian after a one night affair with Dracula and that became the moment they both decided they were gay. Then People would call it plot development. I have no idea why completely plausible outcomes and silliness seem to fall out of left field, but in this day and age it's not enough for events to unfold you have to explain everything.
